NEOSORB® range products are sugar-free, low caloric bulk sweeetners providing a variety of functional properties in confectionery, bakery and seafood products. Used as a sugar replacement in sugar-free confectionery, it allows you to meet consumer demand for a wide range of texture for toothfriendly chewing-gums contributing to oral health. Dental plaque, a sticky bacterial film that develops on dental enamel, reoccurs after every meal. Those microorganisms feed on sugar fermentation, produced by destructive acids attacking the tooths enamel. NEOSORB® P sorbitol powder does not produce acids or cause tooth decay as they are not metabolized by the oral bacteria. European regulation recognizes the nutritional benefits of polyols (Maintenance of Tooth Mineralization, Tooth friendly generic EU claims). Thanks to its humectant and cryoprotectant qualities, it helps extend shelf life in seafood products. At Roquette, we believe that we are successful when our customers are successful. Our application experts are available to help you formulate innovative food and nutritional solutions to meet market demands while helping you anticipate market trends.

ADM Sorbitol Solution 70%, USP/FCC, is a clear, colorless, and odorless aqueous solution containing about 71% total solids consisting essentially of D-Sorbitol with a small amount of mannitol and other polyhydric alcohols. It is a superior humectant in a wide range of products, including confections, cosmetics, and certain beverages and foods. Because of its sweet but non-cariogenic nature, it is used in sugar free foods, dentifrices, and pharmaceuticals. It is also used as a plasticizer, stabilizer and as a raw material in the manufacture of sorbitan esters/polysorbates and polyurethanes.
