Wacker Chemie Isopropenyl acetate (IPA) is a clear, colorless to yellowish, mobile liquid with a pleasant, ester-like odor. It serves as a mild acetylating agent for pharmaceutical ingredients (steroids) and fragrance and flavor chemicals. IPA is also used in the synthesis of enol acetates and as a comonomer for the production of synthetic resins.

BR-990S2 is a dual-functional urethane acrylate with isocyanate functional groups. While products formulated with BR-990S2 can be cured with a UV light source, a free isocyanate can also react with ambient moisture to complete the curing process. This UV+moisture curing process will benefit applications where shadow areas are present. BR—990S2 can also be used as a component in a 2K UV+Heat curable product, the other component being a polyol, glycol, or other compound with OH functional groups. A diol, or compound with two OH groups, will exhibit the best properties because it enables chain growth rather than chain termination. BR-990S2 exhibits good flexibility and develops good tensile strength when cured using both UV light and moisture. More flexible products can also be formulated with BR-990S2, different polyols, and UV+heat curing processes.

BR-581MT is an oligomer blend that provides a low color, tack-free cure under low-intensity LED cure conditions. BR-581MT provides a balance of hardness and flexibility for abrasion resistance on flexible substrates, while also yielding a high-gloss, non-yellowing finish. This product is a resin blend containing 25% DEGDMA, is tin-free, is fully INCI listed, and can be formulated into a tack-free top coat for nail gel applications. Dakota Gasification Company's cresylic acid is a mixture of all three isomers of cresol along with xylenols, ethylphenols, and other ingredients. It is a brownish-colored liquid with a phenol-like medicinal odor. Dakota Gas extracts its cresylic acid from the gas liquor stream produced during the gasification process.Cresylic acid produced through the gasification process creates fewer emissions than when produced from cracked petroleum oils.Cresylic acid from Dakota Gas is used as a distillation feedstock to produce individual creosol isomers.Dephenolized cresylic acid is also used in its raw form to produce wire enamel solvent.Dakota Gas is ISO 9001 certified for cresylic acid as of November 2022.

BR-741D is a low-molecular—weight, difunctional, aliphatic polyester urethane acrylate that can be effectively formulated for adhesion to cold rolled steel, glass, PMMA, PET, PC, and stainless steel. The resulting hard and tough film makes an effective protective glossy coating which will be nonyellowing, abrasion resistant, and have good weatherability. This is the low-viscosity version of BR-741.

BR-542MB is a difunctional, aliphatic polyether urethane methacrylate. BR-542MB is used for its desirable balance of toughness and flexibility and its ability to adhere to a variety of substrates. As a primary oligomer, BR-542MB offers excellent properties of adhesion and optical clarity. As a co-oligomer, BR-542MB can be used to improve an existing formulation's glass adhesion.

Dakota Gas purifies its phenol from the gas liquor stream produced during the gasification process.The majority of Dakota Gas' phenol is sold into the phenolic resin market.Dakota Gas' phenol is created from naturally occurring coal in which the process has fewer emissions than synthetically produced phenol.

The resulting tough film makes a functional, nonyellowing, protective single-coating that extends the substrates use-life. BRC-843SD1 is a softer and more flexible version of BRC-843. This oligomer is also tougher then BRC-843. The low water absorption and alkaline resistance make this oligomer perfect for specialty applications in the following industries: aerospace, appliance, automotive, electronic, and medical device.

BR-5413MB is a difunctional aliphatic polyether urethane methacrylate with a good balance of high tensile strength and impact resistance. Formulating with linear monofunctional monomers can yield improved flexibility. This oligomer is an excellent candidate to consider for use in impact resistant coatings, and provides low color and excellent non-yellowing performance.

MechT E35A is a stable dispersion of discrete functionalized carbon nanotubes in urethane dimethacrylate [UDMA], BR-952. The Masterbatch can be used in rigid, high tensile strength SLA, DLP, or jettable resins to provide conductivity and decreased resistivity. When compared to FDM-printed ESD parts, ESD resins produced with MechT E35A can achieve fully isotropic conductivity with high resolution and isotropic mechanical properties.

BR-582 is a 2.4 average functional aliphatic polyether urethane acrylate. As with other BR-500 series materials, BR-582 is designed to offer a balance of benefits between toughness and flexibility. While only slightly lower in tensile strength and hardness than BR-571, BR-582 has almost double the total elongation at break. BR-582 responds quickly to UV cure, owing to its elevated functionality.

Tack-free gel polish top coats are highly desired in the nail coating industry because they provide a durable, high-gloss finish to a manicure without an IPA wipe step. Removing this step from the process saves time and allows the coating to exhibit its natural gloss. Like all nail coatings, tack-free top coats require a gloss finish, superior hardness, and most importantly, low yellowing properties. Bomar has developed a model formula using a new oligomer which provides exceptionally low colop in a tack-free top coat. The model formula requires this new oligomer, a trifunctional methacrylate monomer, a difunctional methacrylate monomer, and photoinitiatop. The formula performed exceptionally well when compared to competitor top coats in areas of yellowness, viscosity, and hardness.

BRC-8430E is a reduced-functionality version of BRC-843S that provides improved flexiblity and reduced modulus compared with BRC-843S. The hydrophobic and temperature resistant backbone of BRC-8430E combined with the low modulus make BRC-8430E an excellent candidate for moisture resistant adhesives, coatings, and resins, as well as formulations that need to pass autoclave or 85/85 testing.

BR-1041MB is a biobased polyether urethane methacrylate oligomer with a substantial amount of biobased content and is tin-free. This is a harder version of BR-1043MB. This oligomer has a good balnce of toughness and flexibility. It has the ability to adhere to a variety of plastic substrates. The biobased backbone, methacrylate functionality and tin-free nature make this an excellent choice for consumer applications with low irritancy.
