VANZAN® Xanthan Gum is a general purpose xanthan gum grade suitable for coatings and constructions applications. The rheology of VANZAN solutions is remarkably stable over a broad temperature range and will not change significantly between ambient temperature and 60°C. Additionally, VANZAN has excellent freeze/thaw stability.

VAN GEL® B Magnesium Aluminum Silicate is the most economical grade for general industrial applications. VAN GEL B is a highly purified smectite clay suspension stabilizer, emulsion optimizer and rheology modifier. This smectite clay is synergistic with common thickeners such as VANZAN® xanthan gum and CMC. These combinations will provide greater thickening, stabilizing and suspending properties than those developed by the individual components of the mixture. VAN GEL B is used in household and institutional cleaners, polishes, and caustic cleaners.

VAN GEL® ES Magnesium Aluminum Silicate provides maximum electrolyte stability, and optimum pH stability in acidic compositions. VAN GEL ES is a highly purified smectite clay suspension stabilizer, emulsion optimizer and rheology modifier. This smectite clay is synergistic with common thickeners such as VANZAN® xanthan gum and CMC. These combinations will provide greater thickening, stabilizing and suspending properties than those developed by the individual components of the mixture.

VAN GEL® SX Magnesium Aluminum Silicate is a synergistic blend of natural bentonite and xanthan gum that hydrates quickly, even with low shear mixing in unheated water. The combination of smectite clay and xanthan gum will provide greater thickening, stabilizing and suspending properties than those developed by the individual components of the mixture. VAN GEL SX is recommended for difficult to stabilize suspensions and emulsions.

DARVAN® 811D Dispersing Agent is a blend of sodium polyacryalte and sodium polymethacrylate in powder form. It is an effective dispersant of mineral pigment slurries such as kaolin clay, calcium carbonate, wollastonite and TiO2.

DARVAN® 2 Dispersing Agent is a sodium lignosulfonate dispersant for the preparation of aqueous dispersions of pesticide particles. DARVAN 2 provides for optimum dispersion of pesticide particles in water, contributing to reduced viscosity. DARVAN 2 can be used in suspension concentrates, as well as in wettable powders and water dispersable granules.

DARVAN® 1 Spray Dried Dispersing Agent is a sodium polynaphthalenesulfonate powder dispersant for the preparation of aqueous dispersions of pesticide particles. DARVAN® 1 Spray Dried provides for optimum dispersion of pesticide particles in water, contributing to reduced viscosity. DARVAN® 1 Spray Dried can be used in suspension concentrates, as well as in wettable powders and water dispersable granules.

VANZAN® D Xanthan Gum is a surface-treated grade of xanthan gum that provides easy dispersion with rapid viscosity development, without the formation of lumps or “fish eyes”. VANZAN D is surface-treated to make it temporarily insoluble. This facilitates dispersion and prevents the gum from dissolving until the surface treatment is removed by raising the pH of the system to 9 or greater. It is particularly convenient for systems where the final pH is alkaline. The rheology of VANZAN D solutions is remarkably stable over a broad temperature range and will not change significantly between ambient temperature and 60°C. DARVAN® 7-N Dispersing Agent is a sodium polymethacrylate dispersant in solution. It is very effective for dispersing mineral fillers in latex paint formulas.

DARVAN® 670 Dispersing Agent is a sodium polynaphthalenesulfonate powder dispersant for the preparation of aqueous dispersions of pesticide particles. DARVAN 670 provides for optimum dispersion of pesticide particles in water, contributing to reduced viscosity. DARVAN 670 can be used in suspension concentrates, as well as wettable powders, water dispersible granules, and dry flowables.

VANCHEM® NATD is a 30% aqueous disodium dimercaptothiadiazole that functions as a corrosion inhibitor and metal deactivator for nonferrous metals in aqueous systems. It is suggested particularly for protecting solder, aluminum, copper and copper alloys. It is more stable and active at lower pH values than many mercapto compounds.

DARVAN® 7-NS Dispersing Agent is a sodium polymethacrylate dispersant in powder form. It is very effective for dispersing mineral fillers in latex paint formulas.

A creamy‐white powder biocide for use in preservation of materials.

NACAP® is a 50% aqueous sodium 2-mercaptobenzothiazole. It functions as a corrosion inhibitor for water, alcohol and glycol systems. It is particularly effective in preventing corrosion of copper and brass. It is an excellent corrosion inhibitor for aluminum in systems where aluminum is used in the presence of copper and copper alloys. NACAP® is one of the standard copper corrosion inhibitors for the anti-freeze industry.
