Crystic® Polyester Resin 2.406PA is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, orthophthalic polyester resin with low styrene emission. This laminating resin has rapid wet out and low exotherm, making it ideal for multi-layer laminates in spray or hand-lay applications. It has a 16-minute gel time, Lloyd's approval, and can be used in marine, transportation, building and construction, and industrial applications.

Crestafix® 621CC 45 Bonding Paste is a pre-accelerated urethane acrylate/ isophthalic polyester high performance bonding paste. It is a non-sagging, filled compound, specifically designed for the assembly and bonding of GRP moldings. This highly thixotropic polyester can also be used on timber and plasterboard.

Crystic® Pipe Relining Resin PD10098T is a thixotropic, non-accelerated, high-reactive orthophthalic neopentylglycol unsaturated polyester resin. It is specially developed for the production of liners in the pipe relining industry. Fully cured laminates of this product offer high chemical resistance and mechanical properties, as well as excellent long-term property retention.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 703PA is a pre-accelerated dicyclopentadiene (DCPD)-based polyester resin primarily designed for vacuum injection. With its low viscosity and controlled exotherm characteristics, it is particularly suited for large vacuum injections, although other techniques can be used. This resin is approved by Lloyd’s Register of Shipping and has excellent impact resistance, especially due to its compatibility with most reinforcement types. Because of this, it is suitable for a number of heavy-duty applications within the marine, building and construction, and transportation industries. The curing reaction requires only the addition of a catalyst to begin and should be carried out at workshop temperature. The resin, mold, and workshop should all be allowed to reach at least 15°C before the process is carried out. This resin is not ideally suited for the addition of fillers or pigments, and you should get in touch with one of our technical experts before using any additives.

Crystic® Gelcoat 15E(B) is a superior-performance, unaccelerated vinyl ester spray or brush-tool gel coat. It is used for making molds that are designed to have a long service life and retain high gloss levels after multiple pulls. This product is easy to spray or brush and achieves good coverage. The gelcoat does not gas, resulting in a very low porosity surface. It cures with a standard MEKP catalyst and has excellent resistance to fiber print-through when used with Crestamould® VE679PA skincoat, Crestamould® RTR4010PA, or Crestamould® 474PA.

Crystic® Solid Surface Casting Resin 935PA is a pre-accelerated, high-performance, isophthalic neopentyl glycol unsaturated polyester resin. It is developed specifically for the casting of solid surface products. This high-clarity, low-color resin is supplied at a low to medium viscosity in order to accept the maximum level of fillers, including aluminum trihydrate (ATH) and colored chips or natural stone. For the production of flat sheets, where quicker gel times and cure times are required, Crystic® 935PAHR is available on request.

Crystic® Brush Gelcoat 69PA is a pre-accelerated Iso-NPG gelcoat formulated for brush application. It has been developed to have exceptional water and chemical resistance and is recommended for use in sanitaryware and chemical containment applications. Crystic® Gelcoat 69PA is approved by Lloyd'™s Register of Shipping.

Crystic® Isophthalic Spray Gelcoat GT-1000 is a gelcoat range providing a fast, precise service producing high quality gelcoats for you. Recommended for use in all markets including marine, land transport and building applications. It is also suitable for general molding requirements.

Crestafix® 90-80PA Polyester Bonding Paste is a pre-accelerated, orthophthalic polyester bonding paste that is reinforced with 3 mm glass fibers. This product exhibits exceptional mechanical and handling properties, has low shrinkage, and has better resistance to impact. It has been specifically designed for the assembly and bonding of GRP moldings such as panels, inserts, internal frames, ribs, composite constructions, and car body components. It is non-sagging and does not require resin additions.

Crystic® Orthophthalic Spray Topcoat 408PA White is a pre-accelerated flowcoat with excellent scuff resistance, designed for use in general purpose GRP moldings. It is based on a high quality orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin and is suitable for all general molding requirements. The product is pigmented using a highly UV resistant grade of titanium dioxide.

Crystic® Orthophthalic Topcoat 407PA White is a pre-accelerated Flowcoat with excellent scuff resistance, designed for use in general purpose GRP moldings. It is based on a high quality orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin and is suitable for all general molding requirements. This product is pigmented using a highly UV resistant grade of titanium dioxide. It has been formulated for brush application.

Crestafix® 630PA is a pre-accelerated vinyl ester-based high-performance bonding paste. This product is a non-sagging, filled compound with high strength, specifically designed for the assembly and bonding of GRP moldings. Its applications include panels, inserts, internal frames, ribs, internal core materials, and composite constructions. This product provides high shear strength bonded joints without the need for mechanical fixings.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 990PA is a pre-accelerated, low-viscosity, modified orthophthalic polyester resin containing styrene and methyl methacrylate. It was developed for use as a filled system in reinforcing ABS acrylic-lined baths, sinks, and shower trays and is designed for spray laminating. This product has a 6-minute gel time.

Crystic® Fireguard Gelcoat 70PA is our market leading halogen-free fire retardant gelcoat. It has been specifically designed for very stringent fire approvals particularly requiring low smoke characteristics. It achieves TS45545 HL2 with Crestapol 1212 and has low surface spread of flame. It can also be used with standard polyester fire retardant resins.

Crystic® Transfer Moulding Resin 1143PA is based on a tough, durable orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin for closed mould use. It is designed for use in Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) and may be used in other resin injection or vacuum assisted techniques.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 123PA is a medium-thixotropic, tropicalized, pre-accelerated waxed unsaturated polyester resin. This resin is specially formulated to provide rapid wetting and impregnation of the reinforcement. It is ideally suited for the building of boats, water tanks, bathtubs, shower trays, and other products where water resistance is an important factor.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 1124PA is an orthophthalic, low-viscosity, unsaturated polyester resin. It is supplied as a solution dissolved in monomeric styrene. This product is pre-accelerated to give a sufficient pot life for contact molding using Andonox® KP9 at normal ambient temperatures. It has been formulated to give a rapid cure time while retaining a usable pot life and a normal peak exotherm temperature. For an extra-rapid cure, the use of acetoacetonyl peroxide (Andonox® PD40) is recommended.

Crystic® Vinyl Ester Resin VE671-03 is a bisphenol A epoxy based, vinyl ester resin. It designed for use in closed mold applications and centrifugal casting processes. It is recommended for the manufacture of fiber reinforced composite tanks, vessels, ducts etc. for use in chemical processing applications.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 2.446PA is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, spray viscosity, orthophthalic polyester resin with low styrene emission. This laminating resin's rapid wet-out, low exotherm, and fast hardening characteristics make it ideal for rapid mold turnaround. It has a 26-minute gel time, Lloyd's approval, and can be used in marine, transportation, building and construction, and industrial applications. A low-viscosity version of this product is also available.

Crystic® Isophthalic Brush Gelcoat 80PA is an isophthalic, industrial-grade, white-pigmented, pre-accelerated gel coat that is designed for hand lay-up. This product is most suitable for all general molding requirements. It has been designed for application by brush, which yields good coverage, flow, and leveling properties.

Crystic® Transfer Moulding Resin 782PA is an orthophthalic polyester resin, designed for use in RTM. It is a versatile resin, ideally suited to environments where heat and chemical resistance are both required. Crystic® 782 is a non-accelerated version of this resin.

Crystic® Fire Retardant Resin U1007TPA is a filled, fire-retardant, pre-accelerated, thixotropic unsaturated polyester resin designed for RTM and RTM light. It cures with standard MEKP peroxide and has a 17-minute gel time. This product will achieve M2 to the French fire standard.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 124PA is a medium-thixotropic, tropicalized, pre-accelerated, waxed unsaturated polyester resin. It is designed for rapid wetting and impregnation of reinforcements, making it ideal for building boats, water tanks, bath tubs, shower trays, and other products that require water resistance. The unwaxed version of this resin is also available.

Crystic® Polyester Resin R115PA is a general purpose thixotropic, pre-accelerated, orthophthalic, unsaturated polyester resin. It has a 10-minute gel time and is suitable for use in buidling and construction, transportation and industrial applications by hand lay up or by spray application for the production of most glass reinforced laminates.

Crystic® Pipe Relining Resin PD10154I is a magnesium oxide thickenable, orrthophtalic neopentyl glycol, unsaturated polyester resin with UV photoinitiator. This product is specially developed for UV curing systems and the relining pipe repair industry. It has excellent mechanical properties, resistance to water ingress, and impact resistance.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 491 is a thixotropic, isophthalic polyester resin with good water and chemical resistance properties. It was developed for use in a wide range of critical applications that require toughness combined with water and chemical resistance. It is a versatile resin suitable for the fabrication of high-performance boat hulls intended for use in warm or tropical areas.

Crystic® Very-Low Styrene Ecogel S3PA is a high performance isophthalic neopentyl glycol gelcoat. This gelcoat is pre-accelerated and formulated for spray application. Crystic Ecogel® S3PA is a low VOC product. Crystic Ecogel® S3PA has been specially designed for the production of high quality parts in the marine industry. This formulation offers an excellent hydrolysis resistance combined with a high gloss and gloss retention. Crystic Ecogel® S3PA has approval by the Lloyd’s Register of Shipping.

Crestafire® P1-3002PA is a pre-accelerated polyester resin with fire retardant properties, which make it suitable for applications where fire resistance is a major consideration. It is suitable for RTM (resin transfer molding) and RTM light applications. It requires only the addition of a catalyst to start the curing reaction.

Crystic® Polyester Resin 195 is a light-stabilized polyester resin containing styrene and methyl methacrylate. When combined with powder-bonded "E" glass, it is recommended for the production of maximum-clarity GRP sheeting with up to 80% light transmission. This product has a 25-minute gel time.

Crystic® Vinyl Ester Resin VE679-03PA is a pre-accelerated, DCPD modified, vinyl ester resin developed for use as a infusion resin with a wide range of gel times with various catalysts. It has excellent blister resistance and significantly reduces the occurrence of print through, to produce durable moldings with an enhanced surface finish.

Crystic® Transfer Moulding Resin 785PA is apre-accelerated, DCPD based, polyester resin designed for use in RTM (Resin Transfer Molding). It has a lower styrene content than conventional RTM resins and can significantly reduce the occurrence of print through, to produce moldings with an enhanced surface finish.

Crystic® Sandable Brush Gelcoat 42PA is an orthophthalic sandable gelcoat, filled, pre accelerated and formulated for brush application. It has been specially designed for applications that are to be post-painted. This gelcoat is available in a limited range of colors.

Crestafix® B72R Bonding Paste is a polyester-based, MEKP catalysed core bedding compound, developed for both hand-layup and vacuum-bag core installation. It is used as a 2-part system in conjunction with a priming resin applied to the core surface. Lightweight and non-sagging, Crestafix® B72R is formulated to the degree of elasticity required for the core to skin interface.

Crystic® Primecoat is a high build, polyester coating material which allows the rapid surfacing of patterns constructed from wood, MDF, GRP etc. It can be applied wet-on-wet up to a thickness of 1.5mm in one operation without sagging or draining from vertical surfaces. The material hardens rapidly and when cured can be easily sanded to a very smooth finish which can be polished to a surface glossy enough for many applications.

Crystic® Thixotropic Resin LS 451PA is a pre-accelerated thixotropic resin. It is suitable for brush or spray application in the marine industry or general molding market. This product has reduced styrene emissions, typically 20 - 30% lower than conventional lower styrene resins. It has Lloyd's approval but is also suitable for use in building and construction, transportation, and industrial applications. This product has a 20-minute gel time.
