Renegade Materials Corporation RM-3004 prepreg products offer an Out of Autoclave (OOA) option for processing BMI’s. This very unique chemistry can be processed into low-void, high quality, thick laminates with only a vacuum bag in the oven. Yet it still delivers excellent hot/wet performance and durability in airframe, missile and propulsion applications at service temperatures up to 400°F (204°C). RM-3004 (OOA) BMI delivers comparable damage tolerance at high temperatures to industry-standard Autoclave Processed BMI’s. Although developed for structural applications, RM-3004 also offers some unique advantages for tooling. Renegade precision-quality prepregs exhibit excellent handling characteristics and are available in woven and unidirectional form on various fibers including carbon, quartz and S2 glass. A wide variety of nano-materials can be incorporated into this resin system for tailored laminate properties and multi-functional performance. Renegade has formulated compatible BMI Paste Adhesive products (RM-3006, RM-3007) for use with RM-3004 prepregs. Renegade also offers BMI resin systems for RTM (RM-3000) or VARTM (RM-3010) infusion processing.

Toray 8020 is a new generation of toughened epoxy resin systems offering a balance of mechanical properties and excellent surface finish. 7059 PTFE-Glass Fabric is a Premium Grade PTFE-Glass Fabric offers optimum release and durability in harsh environments. Applications include reusable pan liners for cooking and baking, laminate separator sheets, tortilla and pizza crust belts, heat sealing and applications where fabric weave impression is undesirable.

APCM DA 4082 is 200°F cure modified epoxy prepreg system which can be prepreged on fiberglass fabric, woven Kevlar, or other woven fabrics. In addition to their low temperature cure capabilities, DA 4080 prepregs have excellent flow to allow for vacuum bag cure conditions. DA 4080 is a one sided pre-impregnated system yielding a single sided tack material. DA 4082 is the same system except that both sides of the fabric are coated yielding a double sided tack material. Both prepregs can be used for laminating and honeycomb sandwich construction.

Evopreg® PFC502 prepregs are a range of fire-retardant, pre-impregnated composite materialsbased on a PFA (Polyfurfuryl Alcohol) bioresin. HexPly 1458 is a self-extinguishing and self-adhesive modified epoxy resin system for monolithic and sandwich structures. HexPly 1458 has excellent temperature and moisture resistance. It has a versatile cure cycle at 160°C to 180°C and it has an excellent shelf life at room temperature. HexPly 1458 prepregs are only available in fabric form.
