Genesee Polymers’GP-690 ABA SILICONE POLYOL COPOLYMER is a 100% active non-ionic silicone polyol block copolymer with the following structure: P-690 contains polyoxyethylene blocks and dimethyl silicone polymer blocks, which are joined through non-hydrolyzable silicon to carbon bonds.GP-690 ABA SILICONE POLYOL COPOLYMER is designed to function as an emulsifier, wetting agent and profoaming additive for a variety of applications including: polyurethane foams, hard surface cleaners and polishes, and cosmetic formulations.GP-690 contains a primary hydroxyl group at each end of the molecule, allowing for reaction with isocyanates in polyurethane resin systems. This is expected to improve flow and leveling of polyurethane coatings and impart non-stick characteristics to the cured coatings.In textile applications, GP-690 is suggested as a fiber lubricant where more thermal stability is needed than is provided by organic lubricants such as stearates or mineral oils.GP-690is soluble in lower alcohols (EtOH, IPA) and dispersible in water, along with aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons.

Vitro Minerals Pyrogenic Silica RS-50 is a100% recycled synthetic, hydrophilic, fully X-ray amorphous silica, produced via flame hydrolysis. It is a white, submicron-sized powder of high purity and a surface area of 20-50 m/g. The primary particles, sized between 60 and 300 nm (0.06-0.3 um), are spherical and form loosely agglomerated micro-clusters up to about 3 um.

Technicure® D-44 is a pulverized grade of dicyandiamide with an average particle size of about 20 micron. The products contains fumed silica to prevent clumping and improve flow. Typically the product is used with epoxy resin between 3-8 phr. Due to larger particle size, the products offers lower exothermic heat than the finer grade of Dicy. Technicure® D-44 reacts with epoxy resin at temperatures higher than 170°C unless an accelerator is used. Suggested accelerators include Technicure® LC-80, Technicure® LC-100 and substituted ureas such as Technicure® MDU-11M, Technicure® PDU-250M and Technicure® TDU-200M. The type and loading level of an accelerator will provide excellent balance of low temperature reactivity and formulation shelf stability.

Technicure® DCMU is a substituted urea. It is used as a dicyandiamide (DICY) accelerator in one-component epoxy resin based formulations. Typically the product is used with epoxy resin and dicyandiamide between 1-3 phr. The loading level of an accelerator will provide balance of low temperature reactivity and formulation shelf stability.

AROLON® 6436 is an acrylic polyol resin designed for high solids, high performance polyurethane coatings. Low VOC (420 grams per liter) polyurethane coatings can be easily formulated with standard aliphatic isocyanates. AROLON® 6436 has a high equivalent weight for economy in use.

Reacrone RLP-111 is based on a liquid acrylic polymer carried on polyester resin.

Reacrone PCL-100 is based on a liquid acrylic polymer that has been converted into free-flowing powder by adsorption onto fumed silica.

AROLON® 5900 is an acrylic polyol emulsion designed to be reacted with polyisocyanate. State-of-the-art twocomponent waterborne finishes can be formulated with AROLON® 5900 that offer excellent gloss with high distinctness of image (DOI) and can be applied in thick films (up to 3 to 5 dry mils). Very low VOC (~0.4 lb./gal.), easy dispersing (i.e., low shear or hand mixable) paint systems can be made for industrial maintenance, light industrial applications, DOT topcoats, or rail car topcoats. These coatings also demonstrate excellent flexibility while developing good hardness and good chemical resistance.
