CeraSPERSE 31 is carnauba wax compounded in Butyl Carbitol (Diethylene glycol monobutyl ether). This slow-evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether provides compatibility with both polar and non-polar systems. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. In addition to our standard products, Shamrock can develop and produce a wide range of compounds on a make-to-order basis.

Catana™ EPOX 2474 is a distilled min. 98% grade of normal-butylglycidylether. Catana™ EPOX 2474 is most efficient viscosity reducing reactive diluent for high viscosity epoxy resins such are applied in adhesives, laminating, tooling, etc.

S-NAUBA 5021 is a concentrated blend of carnauba and synthetic wax showing melting peaks ranging from 84 – 110°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

Hydrocer 7112 is a stable, aqueous synthetic wax dispersion. Keep the lid tight on the container to avoid separation. If this product has separated, simple mixing with paddle or propeller mixer is all that will be required. The Hydrocer products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

PowderTEX 94 is a pure polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) developed as a texturing agent for powder coatings.

The Sunspheres™ 200 Nm ST- 3 are surface treated*, optically clear, solid fused amorphous microspheres designed for optimum dispersion in coatings, inks, adhesives, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. Cured films show enhanced physical and mechanical properties including increased corrosion resistance, reduced shrinkage, improved adhesion, and enhanced surface qualities such as mar and scratch resistance. This product is particularly useful in improving impact resistance. The average particle size is 200 nanometers and range in size from 50 to 500 nm.

Sunspacers™ 04.X are finely divided, optically clear, solid fused amorphous silica micronized powders. This product is specially engineered for paints, liquid and powder coatings, inks, adhesives, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These micronized powders increase corrosion resistance, reduce shrinkage, improve adhesion, and enhance surface qualities including abrasion, mar and scratch resistance. Sunspacers™ 04.X have a median particle size of approximately 3-4 microns, with a particle size range of 0.5 microns to 13 microns.

S-381-N1 is a micronized synthetic and natural wax alloy that has a uniform melting range peaking at 91°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. TACorr MSW is a long term multimetal protection designed especially for problems with sandblasted aluminum in paint & coatings. TACorr MSW is a TACorr G50 polymer modification with benefits in adhesion for example at the scratch after salt spray test on various metals.

GP® CL-7004 phenolic resin from Georgia-Pacific Chemicals is a thermoplastic novolac. It is used as a crosslinking resin for epoxy and polyester resins. Its low phenol content, convenient softening point, and melt viscosity are conducive for use in powder coatings.

S-363 is a synthetic wax alloy showing melting peaks ranging from 92 – 141°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

Optically clear, solid fused amorphous silica microspheres specially engineered for paints, coatings, inks, adhesives, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. The Sunspheres™ 15.0 have a median particle size of approximately 15.0 microns, with 90% of particles passing 45 microns.

Razeen® SR 5084 is an unmodified solid epoxy resin based on Bisphenol A.

Defoamer and deaerator for water-based coating systems, silicone free. BLISTER FREE 55 has an excellent defoaming effect in all types of water-based alkyd systems, for instance in alkyd emulsions with and without co-solvents. Kraton D1165 P is a clear, linear triblock copolymer based on styrene and isoprene with a polystyrene content of 30%. It is supplied from North America in the physical form identified below. Kraton D1165 PT - supplied as a dusted dense pellet Kraton D1165 P is used in compound formulations and as a modifier of thermoplastics. It may also find use in formulating adhesives, sealants, coatings and modified bitumens.

Reacrone PCL-800 is based on a liquid acrylic polymer that has been converted into free-flowing powder by adsorption onto fumed silica.

Gryphin G-2216 Non-Skid is a two-component, heavy-duty epoxy non-skid coating containing a synthetic resinous binder system and abrasive particles. This material was designed for use over Gryphin G-249 Epoxy Primer or Gryphin G-250 Chelating Primer. This system can be used on steel, aluminum or concrete when a heavy-duty non-skid is required. G-2216 Non-Skid features excellent resistance to oils, grease, hydraulic fluids, detergent solutions, salt water, alcohol, gasoline, and most acids. Because of its excellent resistance to wear and extreme temperature changes, G-2216 Epoxy Non-Skid will provide years of service if properly applied.

Kraton D1124 K is a clear, radial triblock copolymer based on styrene and isoprene, with a polystyrene content of 30%. It is supplied from North America in the physical form identified below. Kraton D1124 KU - supplied as an undusted porous pellet Kraton D1124 K is used as an ingredient in formulating adhesives, sealants and coatings. It may also find use as a modifier of bitumen or thermoplastics and in compound formulations.
