PURE-GEL® modified starches hydrate easily and impart high-viscosity. In addition, these starches are designed to provide stable viscosity in the presence of extended heat, acid and shear conditions. Compared to typical cook-up starches.

PURE-COTE® modified food starches are unique, low-viscosity starches that provide excellent film-forming and adhesive properties. They form clear, flexible films that are fast drying and flavor-free. They function as strong binders for seasonings on snacks and cereals and as smooth, glossy coating agents for confections and baked goods.

MALTRIN® maltodextrins are quick-dispersing forms of the standard MALTRIN® products. These products are produced by an agglomeration process that increases particle size and lowers bulk density compared to standard products. They are easily dispersed into water for ease of use in quick dissolving beverage mixes. The low density is ideal to provide bulk in high intensity sweetener blends. They can also carry limited quantities of oil without losing their physical form or flow properties.

PURE-DENT® Starches is specifically modified to increase surface area for excellent load carrying capacity in simple dry blend or plating applications. Oily, sticky or difficult to handle ingredients can be successfully turned into manageable powders by dry blending with PURE-DENT® modified food starch.

MALTRIN SS® Dried Glucose Syrup are varied length glucose polymers produced by the controlled hydrolysis of corn starch. They are most often categorized by dextrose equivalence (DE). DE is a measure of reducing power compared to a dextrose standard of 100. The higher the DE, the greater the extent of starch hydrolysis, resulting in a smaller average polymer size. The MALTRIN® product line covers a DE range of 5 to 25.

PURE-SET® food starches are modified to provide low-viscosity during cooking. This low hot paste viscosity allows high-solids confectionery products to be easily deposited. PURE-SET® products can be cooked with sweeteners and water to a low moisture content without becoming too viscous. A choice of gel strength and texture also allows for use in other food applications such as cheese products which require strength for grating without loss of integrity. PURE-SET® products serve as an economical binder for emulsified meat products in a very price-competitive market.

FYBRIN™ RS F100 starch is a cross-linked phosphorylated RS4 resistant starch produced from corn of U.S. origin. Cross-linked phosphorylated RS4 starches have known health benefits, such as lowering postprandial insulin levels and increasing dietary fiber intake. It offers a smooth mouthfeel, bland flavor, and white color, while remaining virtually invisible in finished foods.
