MOCOM Compounds ALFATER® XL D40I 2GP0000 is a black thermoplastic vulcanisate (PP+EPDM) with good recovery, weathering resistance, chemical resistance, ozone resistance, and hot air resistance. It is suitable for injection molding and extrusion processes, with melt temperatures of 190-230°C and 200-240°C respectively, and mold temperatures of 10-70°C. Additionally, it has good adhesion to Polypropylene Homopolymer, Polypropylene Copolymer, polyethylene, Thermoplastic Vulcanisate (PP+EPDM), Thermoplastic Olefin Elastomer, and Thermoplastic Elastomer general. It is mainly used in the automotive, building and construction, electrical and electronic, machinery, and furniture industries, and is typically applied to seals, sealing lips, handles, impact protection/shock absorbers, protection caps, cable ducts, casters, plugs, fasteners & connectors, profiles, cable jacketing, conduits, and 2K components.
