This formulation provides superior osmosis resistance along with enhanced thermal and cracking resistance properties. Sogel’s Vinyl Ester Barrier Coats allow accelerating the cure and the demoulding time, while strongly reducing the risk of print through, orange peel and blisters on gelcoat surface.

Polyform Veil Mat PVM/300/V40/120 is a stitch-bonded reinforcement textile consisting of polyester spunlace nonwoven stitched to a layer of chopped strand glass fiber.

Polycor® 945 Tooling polyester tooling gel coats provide durable surfaces to withstand the repeated moldings of FRP laminates. It is generally used in composites applicatons.

Nord Composites GF 921 is a op coat formulated with isophthalic resin, used to make floor coverings with or without the use of corundum as an anti-slip. Thixotropic, pre-accelerated. Gun or robot application. Contains a film-forming agent.

Schmelzer Industries PEARLVEIL 15 mil is a non-woven, continuous strand glass fiber surfacing veil for relatively flat composite parts. Process applications include Pre-form, Compression Molding, Continuous Lamination, Electrical Flat Sheet, RTM / Vacuum Infusion, Filament Winding, Glass Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG).

AeroWindTech AWTPP 604 is designed for vacuum bag lay-up composites and metal-to-metal bonding structures. AWTPP-604 is produced from 100% Polyester fiber. The fiber melts at approximately 480°F (249°C). The fabric leaves a medium surface impression for priming and secondary bonding and is available in precision slit widths. This product is available in standard white heat set finish -N or the -SRG crosslinked Polymer for superb release.

Nord Composites GC 524 is a Formulated polyester gel coat formulated on the basis of ISO NPG resin. thixotropic and accelerated product. Very good tension without refusal, no sag on vertical surfaces. Good resistance to thermal shock. Good resistance to scratching and abrasion according to standard NF 14688.

Polycor® 99C Base White gel coats are high performance products formulated for the casting industry. These gel coats have lower volatile organic compounds VOC than conventional gel coats. Polycor® gel coats meet the EPA national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants NESHAP : reinforced plastic composites production. While offering lower VOC’s, 99c gel coats have retained the important construction application qualities customers have come to expect from polynt composites gel coats, such as resistance to porosity, tearing, and color separation, sag resistance, consistent liquid properties, good patchability, and more. These all add up to higher quality appeal in FRP parts made from polynt’s 99c series gel coats. The 99c’s are formulated to be resistant to water and certain chemicals. These gel coats were primarily developed for casting applications. These gel coats provide durable, reduced maintenance products. These gel coats require only the addition of the proper amount of the appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide to cure.

Polynt Group 55, 55X is designed for interior application; meets particular flame-retardant requirements; not recommended for parts used under direct sun exposure or prolonged water immersion. It is generally used in composites applicatons.

Lavecoat IO is based on IsoPhtalic resin, provide very protection and good mechanical performance in external applications with exposure to water and sunlight.

ARMORCOTE® SP - Light stabilized accelerated isophthalic gel coat base with medium reactivity and superior weather resistance.

POLYCOR® ISO PA WHITE 9199 - A pre-accelerated gel coat based on Isophthalic unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This gel coat is formulated to meet the rigid requirements of transportation,boating and sanitary applications.

Polycor® 947 Neutral Base have been developed for the fiberglass industry where reduced burn characteristics are needed. When properly applied, 947 series gel coats will meet ul 94v-0 requirements. Sfp gel coats are formulated with a brominated polyester resin system. Federal, state or local regulations may limit their use in certain applications. Check with the appropriate governing agency. Since the flame properties of sfp gel coats in the cured state will vary depending on catalyzation, ultimate cure, and the laminating materials used, it is suggested that the user submit samples of the entire composite for testing by an independent lab. Polynt’s 947 series gel coats are designed for interior, non-water immersion service only. Because these gel coats are formulated with a brominated polyester resin, they do not have good resistance to UV and/or water attack. These gel coats are ready to use, easy to spray, sag resistant, fast curing and require only the addition of the proper amount of an appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide to cure. Sfp's are available in many visually appealing colors. Certain custom color matching is available on request.
