Toray C740 is a cyanate ester resin system for cures at 135°C (275°F), pre-impregnated into high performance fibers such as carbon, glass and aramid. The system is capable of withstanding very high temperatures and is inherently flame-retardant. After a suitable post cure the glass transition temperature can be increased to as high as 325°C (617°F).

Toray Toray CFRT® TW-1000 is a reinforced thermoplastic composite laminate. It blends the benefits of a thermoplastic polymer matrix with woven carbon and glass fibers in a twill weave for enhanced shapes and performance. The TW1000 style laminate is available in a single-layer product; carbon in one direction and glass fibers at a 90° orientation to the carbon. This product is ultra-thin, lightweight, and resilient for improved energy return.

Toray Toray MicroPly™ SC8020A is a low-density unsupported epoxy syntactic core. The material has been developed to offer a long out life and flexible cure schedules at 70°C to 130°C (158°F–266°F). Toray MicroPly™ SC8020A offers reduced processing, a one-shot cure, the ability to anchor inserts or fastenings, and increases the opportunity to consider lightweight, thin walled composite sandwich structures. Considerable cost reductions can be realized when SC8020A replaces prepreg as the core material, and where sandwich cores below 3 mm are difficult to achieve in honeycomb core, Toray MicroPly™ is a superior alternative. Toray MicroPly™ SC8020A is available in a variety of thicknesses down to 1 mm, is easily contoured and shaped. SC8020A is supplied on a roll (15 m x 400 mm) or in sheets (625 mm x 400 mm). Toray MicroPly™ SC8020A is compatible for co-cure with Toray’s E720, E722, and 8020 prepregs.

Toray Toray Cetex® TC1000 Design is a cost-effective, high-end thermoplastic composite, utilizing the amorphous PEI polymer for outstanding toughness and an inherently outstanding fire, smoke, and toxicity performance (< 15/15 OSU). Mainly used in customer-qualified aircraft interior Applicationss, Toray Cetex® TC1000 Design is a versatile material that guarantees efficient part production (< 3 minutes per cycle) at consistent quality. When used as a facesheet for sandwich panels, it results in a superior bond and an excellent surface quality without postprocessing. Toray Cetex® TC1000 Design performs exceptionally well in surface processes like bonding and coating. The material performs excellent in the most stringent categories of the European EN45545-2 standard. Toray Cetex® TC1000 Design is available as a fabric prepreg, but is typically supplied in pre-consolidated reinforced thermoplastic laminates (RTLs) of varying thicknesses and lay-ups.
