This grade is designed to impart rheological control and suspension to organic- and silicone-based cosmetics. BENTONE GEL VS-5 PC V is a specially prepared dispersion of an organically modified hectorite in a D5 silicone.

The increase in efficacy is attributed to an activation step, which causes a change in the polymer distribution. This can be measured by HPLC. A shift of polymers from bands 1 and 2 to band 3 indicates an enhanced sweat reduction.

ALOXICOLL® 51L is an enhanced efficacy antiperspirant active, providing improved sweat reduction over standard Aluminum Chlorohydrate solution, ALOXICOLL® L. The increase in efficacy is attributed to an activation step, which causes a change in the polymer distribution. This can be measured by HPLC. A shift of polymers from band 1 to band 2 ( min. 50 % of band 2 ) indicates an enhanced sweat reduction and increased alcohol solubility.

BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 1100 is a vegan rheological additive based on purified smectite clay. It imparts thixotropy and good anti-settling properties in the water phase of cosmetics. It is particularly effective as a means of improving suspension control without unduly increasing viscosity. BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 1100 is an acid- stable clay and has the ability to absorb oils in skin treatments.

BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 2001 is our most effi cient hydrophilic rheology modifier and is based on hectorite. Due to its small size, platelet shape, and large surface area, BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 2001 is able to form strong, stable viscous gels with thixotropic fl ow behavior. ZIRKONAL® L435G is an antiperspirant active, providing enhanced efficacy over Aluminum Chlorohydrates due to the precipitation of basic Aluminum Zirconium Chlorohydrate polymer complexes in the upper part of the sweat glands. BENTONE GEL TMF V is an alternative to rheological additives containing Cyclopentasiloxane, traditional polymers and Cellulose-based thickeners for stabilizing emulsions.

BENTONE GEL CAO V is particularly useful in anhydrous systems, emulsions and can be used in cold process systems. AASCH-3143 is our most effective enhanced efficacy aluminum sesquichlorohydrate powder for use in anhydrous suspension aerosols. AASCH-3143 provides superior protection against wetness and odor in anhydrous antiperspirant aerosols. Normal application will provide a minimum of 24 hours wetness and odor protection.

FANCOL POLYISO 250-CG is a very stable long chain aliphatic hydrocarbon. It provides light emolliency to formulas and aids in water resistant properties.

MICRO-DRY 3115 is standard aluminum chlorohydrate and is ideally suited for use in anhydrous suspension aerosols. It is used by some marketers due to its slightly coarser particle size distribution.

RHEOLUXE 812 is a highly efficient rheological modifier for use in formulations with difficult to thicken conditions such as extreme pH or high electrolyte concentration. RHEOLUXE 812 can be used in “cold process” systems. It is a non-ionic thickener, which provides shear thinning viscosity control without affecting the formula esthetics; allowing light textures to remain light and soft to the touch.

FANCOL VB is extremely valuable as a moisturizer/humectant in creams, lotions, lip care and ointment based products.

REACH AZO-956 G is an economical and high performing solution of aluminum zirconium octachlorohydrex glycine with a low Metals:Cl mole ratio and low Zr content. Better fragrance compatibility (reduced/lighter discoloration) is also possible.

FANCOL LA-15 is an emollient emulsifier, which provides excellent skin conditioning and effective moisturization. The powerful emulsifying properties of Lanolin Alcohol are now available to create stable O/W emulsions or even microemulsions with fine emollient and spreading properties. It can couple Lanolin Oil into shampoo systems to provide emollience and conditioning to the hair after shampooing.
