XIAMETER(TM) PMX-0345 Cyclosiloxane Blend is a volatile polydimethylcyclosiloxane composed of cyclohexasiloxane and cyclopentasiloxane. It can be used as a volatile carrier fluid with excellent spreading, easy rub out, silky skin feel, and good compatibility with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients. The product is clear, tasteless, essentially odorless, non-greasy, and non-stinging.

DOWSIL(TM) FA 4004 ID Silicone Acrylate is a film former designed for long lasting benefits in color cosmetics and skin care applications. It exhibits good compatibility with organic sunscreens, pigments and cosmetic ingredients. It provides sebum resistance, wash off resistance as well as comfort to wear. 

DOWSIL(TM) 580 Wax is a soft, solid mixture of stearyl alcohol and stearoxytrimethylsilane. The cosmetic properties of this wax are a result of the silicone moiety. The inclusion of the stearoxy group involves compatibility with organic ingredients. Hair care and skin care products benefit from the property of this wax to facilitate the formation of a very thin film that is neither oily, tacky, nor too dry.

XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 500 cSt is a polydimethylsiloxane polymer. It spreads easily on both skin and hair, and it imparts a soft and velvety feel in personal care applications.

It yields a viscosity of 4,000 cP at low addition levels. This methoxy- and hydroxypropyl-substituted cellulosic polymer is supplied as a white powder and is multifunctional, water-soluble, and biobased.

DOWSIL(TM) EL-8048 ID Silicone Organic Blend is a clear to slightly translucent cross-linked silicone elastomer gel delivered in a volatile isododecane carrier fluid. It provides dry smoothness, quick absorption, and a light silky feel on the skin.

CELLOSIZE(TM) Texture E50 Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose is a methoxy- and hydroxypropyl-substituted cellulosic polymer that is supplied as white powders. The ratio of methoxy to hydroxypropyl largely determines the properties of the different product grades. This thickener is an excellent rheology modifier, binder, film former, and water-retention agent. It yields a viscosity of 50 cP at low addition levels.

XIAMETER(TM) OFX-0193 Fluid is a silicone polyether copolymer with a HLB value of 12, as calculated using the wt% of the EO/5 method. This graft-style, hydrolytically stable silicone polyether surfactant has applications in hair sprays and other leave-in hair products, shampoos, skin care lotions, and shaving soaps.

XIAMETER(TM) PMX-0246 Cyclohexasiloxane is a blend of volatile polydimethylcyclosiloxane composed of cyclopentasiloxane and cyclohexasiloxane. This product is clear, tasteless, essentially odorless, non-greasy, and non-stinging. It is a low-viscosity cyclohexasiloxane fluid for use in skincare, suncare, color cosmetics, hair care, and antiperspirant/deodorant applications.

OPULYN(TM) 305 Opacifier is an anionic styrene/acrylic copolymer that is supplied at 40% solids. It is specifically designed for anionic-surfactant based systems with high levels of inorganic electrolytes across a broad pH range. This product is recommended for use in liquid hand soaps.

XIAMETER(TM) OFX-8220 Fluid is an amino functional polydimethylsiloxane. The highly basic nature of the primary amine groups on trimethylsilylamodimethicone causes this silicone polymer to develop a net positive charge in aqueous systems over a wide pH range (approximately 1 to 10.5). Consequently XIAMETER(TM) OFX-8220 Fluid is substantive to hair and useful for delivering shine, gloss, combing, and smoothness benefits in hair care applications. XIAMETER™ OFX-8220 Fluid is also suitable for clear products such as clear conditioning shampoos.

XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 50 cSt is a polydimethylsiloxane polymer. It spreads easily on both skin and hair, and it imparts a soft and velvety feel in personal care applications.

OPULYN(TM) 301 Opacifier is an anionic styrene/acrylic copolymer supplied at 40% solids. It delivers a rich, lotionized appearance in formulations. OPULYN(TM) 301 Opacifier has broad formulation compatibility and excellent stability. It best suited for formulations based on anionic surfactant systems such as shower gels, shampoos, and fatty-acid based liquid hand soaps.

This product delivers light to strong conditioning to hair and controlled deposit of actives. It also enables the formulation of clear shampoos with no build-up on hair and avoids volume-down effects and is recommended for shampoos with submicron particle size silicones or those without silicones. ACULYN(TM) 2051 Rheology Modifier is an inverse (water-in-oil) emulsion of sodium polyacrylate in dimethicone. This emulsion contains two surfactants, one to stabilize the thickening agent and the other to help bring the polymer into contact with the aqueous phase of the formulation. When the product is added to water, the polymer expands into the water phase to thicken and give stability to the preparation. As the formulation thickens, the oil-phase ingredients are emulsified and stabilized.

XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 2 cSt is a polydimethylsiloxane fluid commonly used as a base fluid in personal care products due to its excellent spreading and unique volatility characteristics. It is clear, tasteless, essentially odorless and non-greasy.

DOWSIL(TM) PMX-1505 Fluid is a blend of an ultra high viscosity dimethiconol diluted in readily biodegradable carriers in isododecane for use in hair care, skincare, suncare and color cosmetic applications.

DOWSIL(TM) 3901 Liquid Satin Blend is a mixture of a high molecular weight polymer in dimethicone. This product is a film former as well as a sensory and texture enhancer. It has benefits for hair conditioning, hair protection, and combing in hair care applications, and moisturization and sun protection in skin care applications.

DOWSIL(TM) 5562 Carbinol Fluid is a carbinol-functional silicone fluid. This material is unique due to its polar organic substituents. The silicone and organic combination provides multiple benefits in personal care applications. This moderately polar material has a novel compatibility profile. This product also acts as a superior suspension aid for pigments, salts, and sunscreens.

ACULYN(TM) 88 Rheology Modifier is an anionic, hydrophobically modified, alkali-soluble acrylic polymer emulsion (HASE) that is lightly crosslinked with unusually high aqueous thickening and stabilizing efficiency. This thickener is a liquid, cold-processable product that instantaneously thickens upon neutralization, providing ease of handling and increased manufacturing efficiency. This product is offered at 29% solids and is compatible with high levels of surfactants. The polymer has a well-established toxicological profile and is safe in normal use.

DOWSIL(TM) 2503 Cosmetic Wax is an alkylmethylsiloxane wax that melts upon contact with skin and provides moisturizing benefits in hand lotions, body creams, facial treatments, suncare creams/lotions, and other color cosmetics. It is a true hybrid of hydrocarbon and siloxane chemistry.

It is designed to produce stable water-in-silicone emulsions and water-in-oil emulsions with light sensory properties. This product improves the dispersibility of pigment and fine particles in silicone fluid and organic oil.
