PRF Composite Materials RS-L135 exhibits good mechanical properties after curing at room temperature. If high temperature strength is not required, finished products made with the selection of hardeners up to RS-H136 may be used without further heat treatment. Post curing (heat treatment) will further enhance the mechanical properties and will also increase the heat resistance.

Biresin® CR201 is a three component, anhydride cured, low viscosity epoxy resin system suitable for the production of high performance fi bre reinforced composites with outstanding heat resistance.

Rhino Linings USA, Inc. 1319 Resin is a Press Molding Resin Modified for Improved Flexibility and Adhesion. Press molding epoxy system, modified for added flexibility and adhesion. All listed hardeners cure very quickly at standard process temperatures (160°F – 210°F).

POLYNT 9153 KA - Unsaturated polyester resin in styrene,DCPD. It is used to produce isothermal sandwich panels through press and vacuum molding method.

DISTITRON® 275 - Unsaturated polyester resin in styrene,Orthophthalic. It is used to produce bmc and smc manufacture,very good mechanical properties through hot press molding method.

PRF Composite Materials RS-L285 has very low mixed viscosity, ensuring a fast and complete impregnation of reinforcement fibers without drainage on vertical surfaces. The addition of fillers such as colloidal silica, microballoons, metal powder etc., is also acceptable to obtain special properties. The RS-L285 epoxy resin system exhibits good mechanical properties after curing at room temperature. If high temperature strength (≥ +60°C) or aircraft approval is not required, finished products made with the selection of hardener RS-H285 may be used without further heat treatment. Post curing (heat treatment) will further enhance the mechanical properties and will also increase the high temperature strength, up to 100°C being achievable depending on the selected hardener and post cure cycle used. The properties indicated in this document may only be achieved by curing/post-curing above 50°C.

Maverick Corporation MVK-16 is a high-temperature thermosetting polyimide resin with service capability up to 288°C (204°C wet). Originally developed by Maverick to replace PMR-15 and its highly toxic diamine 4,4’-methylenedianiline (MDA), MVK-16 contains no mutagenic or carcinogenic components. Although it is most suited for autoclave processing, its chemistry also allows for the use of compression molding. MVK-16 is available as a PMR-type resin solution from Maverick Corporation, or as a prepreg from Renegade Materials Corporation.

Maverick Corporation J1 is a high‐temperature thermosetting polyimide resin with service capability up to 371°C. Itslow powder melt viscosity (300‐600 cP at 274°C) makes J1 one of a small number of polyimidessuitable suitable for use in resin transfer transfer molding molding (RTM) processes processes.J1 does not contain the toxic diamine 4,4’‐methylenedianiline (MDA) or any other mutagenic orcarcinogenic components. Although it is most suited for RTM processing, its chemistry alsoallows for the use of autoclave processing or compression molding.J1 is available as a PMR‐type resin solution or as a pre‐imidized powder from MaverickCorporation.

Maverick Corporation MVK-19 is an ultra-high temperature polyimide resin with continuous service capability up to 371°C. MVK-19’s excellent thermal stability makes it suitable for use in some of the harshest applications for composite bearings and structures.MVK-19 does not contain the toxic diamine 4,4’-methylenedianiline (MDA) or any other carcinogenic or mutagenic component. Its chemistry makes MVK-19 most suitable to be processed by compression molding.MVK-19 was formulated and developed by Maverick, and it has been qualified for use in military and commercial jet engines since 1994. Maverick Molding Company manufactures MVK-19 molded parts in high-rate production at our Blue Ash facility. MVK-19 is available as a resin solution from Maverick Corporation.
