SIMPREX® H425-200 is an advanced vinyl ester prepreg designed to provide excellent fire retardance properties (V-0 flammability rating). It is ideal for manufacturing sandwich structures, providing good adhesion to core materials such as Nomex® honeycomb, balsa and foams. SIMPREX® H425-200 is a great choice for many applications in the range of low to medium service temperature, where a high degree of fire retardance is required.

APCM DA 4518 is an epoxy prepreg designed for a temperature range of -67°F (-55°C) to 350°F (177°C), with a cure of 250°F (121°C) for one hour and or a cure of 350º F (177ºC) for 1 hour. This material needs to be post cure or cured to 350ºF to get the 350º properties.

Toray 8020-FR is a modified epoxy resin system suitable for curing between 70°C (158°F) and 120°C (248°F). The medium viscosity resin is pre impregnated into high performance fibers such as carbon, glass and aramid. Toray 8020-FR offers excellent structural properties, flame retardance and toughness. Toray 8020-FR is designed for structural Applicationss in the motor racing, general industrial fabrications and marine industries and is suitable for a wide range of engineering Applicationss.

Vist Composite SK2RF400-1 is a lightweight polyimide vacuum film with excellent electrical, thermal, physical and chemical performance from -265°C to +400°C. Due to this, this film finds application in a wide area. Product advantages include high dielectric strength, isotopicity, non-shrinkage, abrasion and scratch resistance. The product is used in various processes for the manufacture of parts from polymer composite materials.

PRF Composite Materials RP442 is designed to give an initial cure at low temperatures with enhanced toughness and higher service temperature, giving great flexibility in component manufacture. The system also has a longer out life for a low temperature system: up to 30 days at 20°C. RP442 can be supplied on a variety of PRF’s high quality reinforcement fabrics.

Toray TC350-1 is a toughened matrix for structural advanced composite Applicationss. TC350-1 offers an excellent balance of toughness, mechanical property translation, and hot/wet performance. It is easily processed via out-ofautoclave or press curing operations. TC350-1 develops a 191°C (376°F) Tg after a 177°C (350°F) cure, which coupled with low moisture absorption translates into excellent hot/wet performance. TC350-1 is available with virtually all fiber reinforcements in uni-directional tape, slit uni-directional tape, woven, and non-woven prepreg formats. 177°C (350°F) Cure, Toughened Epoxy Prepreg.

Renegade Materials Corporation RM-2014-LDK-TK is a 300°F (150°C) cure, modified epoxy prepreg system with very low dielectric and loss properties. RM-2014-LDk-TK provides good tack, drape and handling, and a great balance of mechanical properties.

Toray Toray MicroPly™ SC8020A is a low-density unsupported epoxy syntactic core. The material has been developed to offer a long out life and flexible cure schedules at 70°C to 130°C (158°F–266°F). Toray MicroPly™ SC8020A offers reduced processing, a one-shot cure, the ability to anchor inserts or fastenings, and increases the opportunity to consider lightweight, thin walled composite sandwich structures. Considerable cost reductions can be realized when SC8020A replaces prepreg as the core material, and where sandwich cores below 3 mm are difficult to achieve in honeycomb core, Toray MicroPly™ is a superior alternative. Toray MicroPly™ SC8020A is available in a variety of thicknesses down to 1 mm, is easily contoured and shaped. SC8020A is supplied on a roll (15 m x 400 mm) or in sheets (625 mm x 400 mm). Toray MicroPly™ SC8020A is compatible for co-cure with Toray’s E720, E722, and 8020 prepregs.

Toray Toray MicroPly™ EM-5A is a 177°C (350°F) cure expanding cyanate ester syntactic film (core splice). Its unexpanded density is approximately 50 pcf (0.80 g/cc) and exhibits an expansion ratio of up to 4x. It is available in continuous film rolls or in sheet form from thicknesses of 10–125 mils (0.25–3.18 mm). Standard widths are 61 cm (24”), but alternative widths up to 127 cm (50”) are available upon request. 177°C (350°F) Cure Cyanate Ester Syntactic Core Splice Film.

Toray RS-17B is a modified epoxy resin that delivers extremely low moisture absorption while providing excellent mechanical properties, toughness, and modulus. RS-17B is a flexible cure system that may be cured from 135°C to 177°C (275°F to 350°F). RS-17B has a long spaceflight heritage. 135°C–177°C (275°F–350°F) Cure Epoxy.

Toray’s TC250 offers an excellent balance of toughness, mechanical properties, and hot/wet performance. It is easily processed via vacuum bag/oven, autoclave, or press curing operations. Although TC250 is a 130°C (265°F) cure system, it can be post cured for a higher dry and wet Tg, which enhance the product’s elevated temperature performance. TC250 can also be cured or freestanding post cured to 177°C (350°F) to increase its high temperature performance. TC250 is available with virtually all fiber reinforcements in uni-directional tape, slit unidirectional tape, woven, and non-woven prepreg forms. 130°C (265°F) Cure, Toughened Epoxy Resin System

Vist Composite SK2RS230-1 is a 50 shore A hardness, highly elastic sheet silicone compound for use as a vacuum bag in the molding of aircraft parts. SK2RS230-1 has good strength characteristics, elasticity and high temperature resistance; effective in molding products of complex shapes. It is widely used as a membrane in vacuum and thermal presses in the composite industry for the production of parts from composite materials. The product can be used at temperatures from -60°C to 250°C.

Toray E722 is a 120°C (248°F) cure toughened epoxy component prepreg. E722 is designed for structural Applicationss in the motorsport and marine industries. Toray E722 would also suit general aircraft fittings, sporting equipment, and a wide range of engineering Applicationss. Toray E722 is compatible for co-cure with Toray MicroPly™ EF72, a 120°C (248°F) cure resin film, and Toray MicroPly™ SC72A syntactic core. 120°C (248°F) Cure Toughened Epoxy Resin System

PRF Composite Materials RP542-3 is a winter version of our popular RP542-1 component prepreg, providing a controlled flow, toughened epoxy prepreg system formulated for the manufacture of high performance structural composite parts requiring very good impact strength properties. The system has been formulated for a medium temperature cure of 90 - 120°C under vacuum or autoclave pressure and is also suitable for press molding. Fully cured, this system has a dry service temperature capability up to 120°C. The component surface finish with this system is excellent. The high tack level of this system is ideal for use in cold weather conditions, where temperatures in workshops drop below 15°C. The out life of the system is up to 40 days at 20°C, making this system suitable for the manufacture of large composite components. RP542-3 can be supplied on most of the vast range of PRF reinforcement materials in widths up to 1350 mm wide.

Evopreg® EPC200 component prepregs are primarily designed for low-temperature, out-of- autoclave processing. Their flexible cure profile also makes them ideally suited to rapid processing at higher temperatures. Based on a toughened epoxy resin system, Evopreg® EPC200 is formulated specifically for high performance, ease of lay-up and excellent surface finish. The prepregs can be supplied with a range of reinforcement fibers and fabric constructions. They can be consolidated by vacuum bag/oven, autoclave or press molding and are designed for a range of applications including automotive, motorsport, sporting goods and general industrial..

Airdraw Airdraw 2 is embossed with a ''cracked ice'' pattern which allows for rapid air removal when placed under vacuum. The film has been formulated to provide increased stiffness to assist in maintaining a breathable pattern. Airdraw 2 is not affected by environmental conditions and will not soften in high humidity, allowing superior breathability. It is designed primarily for ply compaction with the added benefits of not requiring a breather. It is embossed from one side of the film, under close examination; the film has a flat side and a raised side. The outer surface of the roll is the raised side. For best results, place the raised side against the part surface on top of a perforated release film.

THINPREG™ TP 415 is a rubber toughened version of TP402, design for sporting goods application, combining high elongation and great toughness. It is available in ultra-Thin Ply format, as low as 15gsm. This hot-melt epoxy prepreg is recommended to be cured at 135°C for optimal performance and a Tg until 145°C Onset (by E’ DMA). This matrix has a very good flow control. TP415 offers excellent mechanical properties on a wide variety of fibers, and fiber weights.

DISTITRON® 3519 BS - Unsaturated polyester resin in styrene,Orthophthalic. It is used to produce isothermal sandwich panels through press and vacuum molding method.

AeroWindTech AWTNPP 520 SRG is a high temperature Nylon release peel ply coated with a release agent. This fabric will provide ease of release while using most pre-pregs and resin systems and is specifically designed for vacuum bag lay-up composites and metal-to-metal bonding structures. AWTNPP-520-SRG is produced from 100% nylon 6, 6 fiber and melts at approximately 480°F (249°C). This product is not recommended for phenolic systems. This fabric leaves a fine surface impression for priming and secondary bonding and is available in precision slit widths.

PRF Composite Materials RP542-4 is a controlled flow, toughened epoxy prepreg system formulated for the manufacture of high performance structural composite parts requiring very good impact strength properties. The system has been formulated for a medium temperature cure of 80 - 120°C under vacuum or autoclave pressure and is also suitable for press molding. Fully cured, this system has a dry service temperature capability up to 120°C. The component surface finish with this system is excellent. The tack level of this system has been optimized to meet the constructor’s requirements and will be retained for up to 60 days at 20°C making this system suitable for the manufacture of large composite components. RP-542-4 can be supplied on most of the vast range of PRF reinforcement materials in widths up to 1350 mm wide.

AeroWindTech AWTPP 604 is designed for vacuum bag lay-up composites and metal-to-metal bonding structures. AWTPP-604 is produced from 100% Polyester fiber. The fiber melts at approximately 480°F (249°C). The fabric leaves a medium surface impression for priming and secondary bonding and is available in precision slit widths. This product is available in standard white heat set finish -N or the -SRG crosslinked Polymer for superb release.

Stretchlon® 800 vacuum bag film has the highest elongation from all nylon films and is suitable for cure temperatures up to 204°C. When parts with multiple contours are vacuum bagged, Stretchlon® 800 is a good choice offering to stretch into most areas. This film is designed to remain more flexible than standard nylon films in low humidity conditions. Stretchlon® 800 is recommended for epoxy and BMI resins.

Toray RS-1 is an epoxy prepreg resin that provides an excellent balance of mechanical properties, toughness, and modulus. RS-1 has been evaluated and qualified in areas ranging from marine to aerospace and dielectric structures. RS-1 is also available in a lower temperature curing formulation 80°C (176°F).

Evopreg® EPC300 prepregs are a range of fire-retardant, pre-impregnated composite materialsbased on a PFA (Polyfurfuryl Alcohol) bioresin. PFA is a thermosetting bioresin derived from crop waste and is similar to phenolic resin but withlower toxicity and VOC emissions. In addition to its environmental credentials, PFA hasoutstanding fire retardant properties, plus excellent temperature and chemical resistance. The prepregs can be supplied with a range of reinforcement fibers and fabric constructions,including woven and unidirectional E-glass fiber and carbon fiber. They can be consolidated byvacuum bagging, autoclave or press molding and are designed for applications includingaircraft interiors, rail interiors, marine, offshore and construction.

Toray Toray MicroPly™ EM-3 is a 121°C (250°F) curing expanding epoxy film based on low density syntactic film technology. It is an effective material in generating internal pressure in closed mold Applicationss and honeycomb filling, splicing, and stabilization. Toray MicroPly™ EM-3 is available in film form from 30–91 cm (12–36”) wide with standard thicknesses from 0.0635 cm to 1.27 mm (0.025“ to 0.050”). Other widths and thicknesses may be available upon request. 121°C (250°F) Cure Expanding Syntactic Epoxy Film.

AeroWindTech AWTNPP 589 is designed for vacuum bag lay-up composites, metal-to-metal bonding structures, and resin infusion layup processes. This Heat Set and scoured finish material is a 100% Nylon 6, 6 fiber and melts at approximately 480°F (249°C). This product is not recommended for phenolic systems. The fabric leaves a rough surface impression for priming and secondary bonding and is available in precision slit widths. This product is available in standard white Heat set finish -N or the -SRG Crosslinked polymer for superb release.

Park’s E-718 is a modified epoxy resin system. E-718 is designed to provide excellent mechanical properties at low cure pressures.

The SL-2000/SuperLam style laminate is available in a single-layer product that is ultra-thin, lightweight, and resilient for improved energy return.

Havel Composites CZ sro Epoxy resin L 20 is a laminating resin suitable for most work processes lamination, especially in the aerospace industry. Epoxy resin for glass saturation, aramid and carbon fibers. Bonds wood, metals, styrofoam, etc. It is suitable for manual lamination, injection and vacuuming. See the R + G handbook for details p.69.
