Our product line consists of: vacuum bagging films, release films, pressure sensitive tapes, mold releases (non-liquid), peel plies, breathers & bleeders, sealant tapes, vacuum bag connectors & hoses, rubber, pressure pads, cutting tools, vacuum leak detectors, shrink tape, PTFE coated fiberglass, tooling prepregs and resins, and carbon and glass reinforcements. Business focus areas include aerospace, wind energy, marine, automotive, printed circuit board, solar energy and general FRP composites. Airtech has six locations strategically placed worldwide: Huntington Beach, California, USA; Chino, California, USA; Springfield, Tennessee, USA; Differdange, Luxembourg; Chadderton, England; and Tianjin, China. All of our facilities offer technical assistance and are ready to meet your composite production challenges.

With nearly 50 years of extrusion experience, we’ve taken the next step into additive manufacturing. Print-Tech® is our new large scale additive manufacturing or 3D printing tooling service for composites. Large-scale tooling in the form of trim fixtures, holding fixtures, and layup molds can be designed, tooled, and built faster without compromise quality. Also, we manufacture a full line of Dahltram® tooling and Dahlpram® purging resins. ​​"

Econolon® is an inexpensive nylon bagging film for low temperature cures, compaction or debulking.

Econolon®

Ipplon® WN1500 is a heat-stabilized nylon film for cure temperatures up to 246°C. It can be used when high temperature and high pressure are required. Ipplon® WN1500 is the recommended material for cures with phenolic resins.

Airdraw® Airdraw 2-DC is embossed with a diamond channel pattern which has been engineered specifically to provide rapid air removal from under the bag when vacuum is drawn. Airdraw 2-DC uses the original Airdraw 2 film which has been formulated to provide increased stiffness to assist in maintaining a breathable pattern, and is a contact material on some specifications. Airdraw 2-DC is not affected by environmental conditions and will not soften in high humidity and maintains the structure of the breathing channels for superior performance. It is designed primarily for ply compaction, with the benefit of not requiring a breather. It is embossed from one side of the film and under close examination the film has a flat side and a side with diamond shaped blisters. The blisters go against the part surface on top of a perforated release film.

Stretchlon® 850 is a high elongation film in tube form with a good softness which will conform to complex contours. This film is designed to remain more flexible than standard nylon films in low humidity conditions. Stretchlon® 850 is recommended for epoxy and BMI resins.

Wrightlon® 7400 is a high temperature nylon film with high elongation which is suitable for cure temperatures up to 204°C. It is also offered with our embossed, cracked ice pattern making it a breather, release film and vacuum bag all-in-one.

Ipplon® KM1300 is a vacuum bagging film with a good elongation and is suitable for cure temperatures up to 212°C. It is recommended for bagging applications where a higher softness is required. An excellent film for autoclave use or resin infusion.

Wrightlon® 6400 is a nylon bagging film with a good elongation for cure temperatures up to 204°C.

Wrightlon® 6400

Stretchlon® 700 vacuum bag film is a high elongation elastomeric film which is designed for cures up to 195°C. It is particularly suitable for applications where softness and elongation are required. The risk of bridging in the corners is highly reduced due to the elasticity of the film. This film stays soft even in a very low humidity environment. Stretchlon® 700 is recommended for cures with phenolic and epoxy resins.

Stretchlon® 700

Stretchlon® HT-350 is a higher temperature version of Stretchlon® 200. It can be used with all standard epoxy resin systems. The very high elongation makes this film easy to use on contour lay-ups and is an excellent choice for ply compaction. It is not recommended for autoclave processing. This film is not affected by low humidity conditions.
