PYRAX® B Pyrophyllite is a unique natural mixture of platy silicates, principally pyrophyllite, and quartz. As a replacement for mica, PYRAX B is an excellent filler in joint compounds and dry wall muds. PYRAX B imparts mud crack resistance to high build coatings such as texture paints and block fillers. PYRAX B is a good inert filler for use in contractor flat paints, where it contributes to improved low angle sheen control and scrub resistance. When used in exterior paints, the neutral pH of pyrophyllite yields reduced frosting.

CP-1007™ is a non-flammable, non-toxic, non-acid, penetrating silicate sealer that strengthens and internally waterproofs cementious materials. CP-1007 is water-based and environmentally friendly. Unlike membrane forming sealers which can be worn away in high traffic areas’, leaving unprotected concrete unsightly and susceptible to chemical attack, CP-1007 penetrates into the surface and cannot be scratched or peeled off. When applied to concrete or masonry, CP-1007 reacts with calcium hydroxide and reduces porosity and permeability of the concrete matrix. This serves to increase the hardness and chemical resistance which, in turn, increases the service life of the surface. In conditions where salt air and humidity attack the concrete, causing oxidation of the reinforcing steel, CP-1007 has proved to halt such corrosion activity. When the CP-1007 is applied to concrete exposed to such conditions, exfoliation or expulsion of the chlorides takes place. The CP-1007 reacts with free alkali in the concrete forming a silica hydrogel that fills the capillaries within the matrix. This hydrogel waterproofs and seals the surface after all materials harmful to the concrete are removed. This process could take up to thirty days or longer, depending on the chloride and acidic residual concentration within the capillaries.

PS102 is a chemically reactive deep penetrating siliconate sealer that is intended for unsealed and uncolored rough concrete and masonry. It creates a cross-linked insoluble methyl-silicone internal membrane that fuses within porous substrates of broom finished concrete and concrete block to combat freeze/thaw damage, reduce scaling and spalling, impart water repellence, and restrict moisture absorption. It also limits harmful effects of deicing chemicals and salts, acid rain deterioration, alkali attack, corrosion of reinforcing steel, and UV damage. PS102 decreases efflorescence and dusting, limits dirt build up, retards mold and mildew, and makes easier to clean and maintain. PS102 is breathable with minimal impact to traction coefficient. PS102 also contains film forming polymers for enhanced curing of broom finished concrete by allowing the slow release of moisture during the curing process while maintaining excellent breathability. The film forming polymers also provide superior freeze/ thaw protection in harsh climates. It is also UV resistant and nonyellowing. PS102 has a light milky appearance. Upon proper application, the substrate will have little, or no, noticeable change in appearance when dry.

PS111 is a proprietary water based ready-to-use silicate treatment that is applied to uncolored and unsealed freshly placed interior or exterior concrete. It is not film forming and penetrates deeply into the pores and capillaries of the top layer of a surface. The PS111 chemically reacts with calcium hydroxide within matrix of structure of concrete to form added Calcium Silicate Hydrate (CSH) which is the main binder in concrete. This technology helps with the proper curing and hydration of concrete by reducing rapid water evaporation while retaining breathability. The PS111 is easier, more efficient, and less costly to apply than traditional curing agents or methods and also becomes a permanent part of the concrete itself. It does not interfere with the subsequent application of penetrating sealers, the bonding of topical coatings, or the adhesion of glues or mastics used in floor coverings. It is an ideal treatment for smooth troweled or broom finished concrete surfaces. The PS111 also improves the hardness, strength, abrasion and wear resistance, long term durability, and overall integrity of a treated surface. It reduces dusting not caused by actual surface defects, provides long term protection against wear and traffic, and lowers the overall maintenance of a surface. The PS111 is environmentally friendly, VOC compliant, non-flammable, non yellowing, and odorless. It is breathable with minimal impact to traction coefficient. PS111 has a clear appearance. Upon proper application, the substrate will have little, or no, noticeable change in appearance when dry.
