Quantum Composites QC-2150LD is a chopped E-glass fiber reinforced ESC® molding compound. It exhibits outstanding low flammability characteristics. It is recommended for applications such as aircraft interiors and public transportation components requiring composite materials having very low flammability, low smoke, and minimal generation of toxic gasses.

StarPCS™ SBMC-998 are carbon fiber reinforced molding compounds containing a discontinuous carbon fiber, a specially formulated StarPCSTM polycarbosilane resin, and refractory particulate. SBMC-900 and SBMC-998 can be used in the cured state, but are specifically designed for use as a ceramic matrix composite (CMC) thermal or mechanical structure.

menzolit® BMC 2600 is a bulk molding compound based on unsaturated polyester resin. The product is glass fiber reinforced and contains mineral fillers. In case of fire the product doesn’t melt, neither does it form droplets nor is smoke generation excessive. The material is injection molded in heated steel molds. It is recommended to work with chrome plated tools. It does not contain any halogens nor any candidates from the REACH SVHC list.

Resinoid 2101 is an organic fiber reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound. Carbkid® Fiber VE SMC is a polymer composite material reinforced with carbon fiber, which consists of a thermoset resin (usually vinylester or epoxy) and different additives that allow to obtain certain specific characteristics and improve the behavior of the material during the molding process of the final product. While the standard SMC is reinforced with glass fibers, the CSMC is reinforced with cut fibers or carbon fabrics. CSMC materials combine the low-weight characteristics offered by carbon composites in conjunction with a widespread forming process, such as compression molding, which allows for short manufacturing cycles and is therefore suitable for industrial applications in large series.
