Santicizer

Santicizer® 141 is a fast-fusing, non-halogen, fire retardant plasticizer used in multiple polymer systems. This plasticizer is recommended for applications where there is a need to reduce the risk of fire. This versatile additive has FDA clearances making it an option for applications that involve indirect food contact. In PVC, Santicizer® 141 acts as a high solvating plasticizer, offering performance, faster fusion and high plasticizing efficiency. Santicizer® 141 is also used as a lubricant additive, hydraulic fluid, and rubber processing aid.

Santicizer® 148 is a fast-fusing, non-halogen, fire retardant plasticizer used in multiple polymer systems. This plasticizer is recommended for applications where there is a need to reduce the risk of fire. Santicizer® 148 helps to suppress smoke during combustion of materials it is used in. In PVC, Santicizer® 148 acts as a high solvating plasticizer, offering permanence, faster fusion and high plasticizing efficiency.

Santicizer® 154 is a liquid, non-halogen, triaryl phosphate ester fire retardant plasticizer used in multiple polymer systems. This plasticizer is similar to tricresyl phosphate in performance properties, but without the neuro-toxicity associated with ortho-cresol materials. Within the Santicizer® family of plasticizers, Santicizer® 154 offers the best fire retardant properties. Santicizer® 154 is a great option in many applications where fire resistance is paramount, but plasticization is not a key property or where plasticization may need to be compensated for.

Santicizer® 160 is a fast fusing, benzyl phthalate plasticizer designed for use in multiple polymer systems and applications. This plasticizer has compatibility in many polymer types, particularly in PVC. Santicizer® 160 can be used as a primary plasticizer or is often blended with general purpose plasticizers to offer faster fusion and better plasticizing efficiency. Together, these properties generate savings in faster production throughput, lower oven temperatures, and lower total plasticizer loadings. Santicizer® 160 is a well-recognized plasticizer utilized in many industrial PVC applications, processes like cleaning/purging, and as a carrier for biocides, pigments, and other additives.

Santicizer® 278 is a fast fusing, benzyl phthalate plasticizer designed for use in multiple polymer systems and applications. This plasticizer is a high molecular weight alkyl benzyl phthalate that has compatibility in many polymer types, particularly in PVC. Santicizer® 278 is extremely permanent. It resists exudation and extraction and has very low volatility. Additionally, Santicizer® 278 has shown sound dampening benefits, and has benefits in wet applications of paint.

Santicizer® 375 is a viscosity modifier for use in PVC plastisols or organosols. This product is fugitive during any open heating processing, so it will be predominately absent in the finished good. The material can help compensate for viscosity rise that is a common shelf life problem for plastisols using fast fusing plasticizers. Additionally, Santicizer® 375 can allow for case hardening in applications that require surface rigidity.

Santicizer® 1439 is a modified alkyl aryl phosphate ester for flexible PVC products that must meet stringent flame retardancy standards. Santicizer® 1439 is specially recommended for plastisol applications where lower viscosity is combined with high fire-retardancy of the end product.

Santicizer® 1462 is a modified alkyl aryl phosphate ester for flexible PVC products that must meet stringent flame retardancy standards. Santicizer® 1462 is specially recommended for plastisol applications where critical processing conditions must be combined with high fire-retardancy of the end product. In vinyl nitrile foams, Santicizer® 1462 imparts a significant level of fire retardancy and helps foamed products meet certain specified flammability performance criteria. Santicizer® 1462 also acts as a processing aid and contributes to excellent cell structure in chemically blown foams.

Santicizer® 2148 is a non-halogen, low-smoke, alkyl aryl fire retardant plasticizer used in multiple polymer systems. This plasticizer is recommended for applications where there is a need to reduce the risk of fire and smoke. This versatile additive is specifically designed to offer improved smoke suppression.

Santicizer® 2248 is a non-halogen, extremely low- smoke, alkyl aryl fire retardant plasticizer used in multiple polymer systems. This plasticizer is recommended for applications where there is a need to reduce the risk of fire, and especially smoke. Santicizer® 261A is a fast fusing, benzyl phthalate plasticizer designed for use in multiple polymer systems and applications. This plasticizer is a C7-C9 alkyl benzyl phthalate that has compatibility in many polymer types, particularly in PVC.

Santicizer® Platinum G-2000 is an efficient bio-based primary plasticizer that offers excellent heat stability, enhanced processability, and lower volatility than traditional General-Purpose Plasticizers. Santicizer® Platinum P-1800 is a proprietary, non- phthalate plasticizer designed for use in polymer systems such as PVC, latex, polyurethane, and polysulfide. Santicizer® Platinum P-1800 is a high solvating, fast fusing plasticizer.

Santicizer® Platinum P-330 is a non-phthalate, primary plasticizer with high performing product characteristics meant to outperform existing general purpose plasticizing alternatives. This plasticizer has some high solvating character to boost compatibility and plasticizing efficiency in multiple polymer systems. This product is highly recommended for PVC application where fast fusing would be a benefit.

Santicizer® 1438 is a modified alkyl aryl phosphate ester for flexible PVC products that must meet stringent flame retardancy standards. Santicizer® 1438 is specially recommended for plastisol applications where lower viscosity is combined with high fire-retardancy of the end product. Santicizer® 1438 exhibits superior flow properties and plasticizer efficiency compared to triaryl phosphate esters at equal concentrations. Santicizer® 1438 can be used at lower concentrations for similar flame spread without affecting tensile properties.
