ULTRA-LUBE™ IMX is a highly effective internal lubricant and dispersing aid for specialty elastomers, like HNBR, XNBR, ECO and exotic polymers. ULTRA-LUBE™ IMX is a synergistic blend of primary amide and a highly thermal stable fatty acid derivative, thus shrinkage after post curing will not be affected. ULTRA-FLEX™ AS is an antistatic plasticiser, designed to reduce the surface resistivity of rubber compounds. ULTRA-PLAST™ TP01 contains reactive sites which create hydrogen bonding and can therefore act as coupling agent between polymer and filler. It acts as an efficient blending and dispersing agent in highly filled plastics compounds, leading to a more homogeneous initial mix. At processing conditions, ULTRA-PLAST™ TPO1 is an effective lubricant for polyolefins like PVC, PS, ABS and several TPO systems. Applications recommended for ULTRA-PLAST™ TPO1 include highly filled TPE and TPO compounds, filled olefins, flame retarded systems and color concentrates. In addition, it can be used in unfilled elastomers where reduced viscosity and improved flow under processing conditions are desired. In many cases, better surface appearance and more uniform mold shrinkage can be observed.

ULTRA-FLOW™ 500 is a very effective additive for the physical peptization of NR. It can be applied in polymer pre-mastication as well as in the masterbatch phase of single stage mixing. The available double bonds in ULTRA-FLOW™ 500 stabilize free radical formation, thus improving reversion resistance and tear strength. ULTRA-FLOW™ 500, if applied at the recommended dosage, does not bloom from vulcanisates due to its wide solubility limit. As a process additive for solution SBR, ULTRA-FLOW™ 500 reduces compound viscosity and increases flow as well as reversion resistance.

It is best added at the beginning of the mixing cycle to achieve the optimum wetting effect. ULTRA-BLEND™ 4000 increases green tack of rubber compounds by showing some synergistic effect with tackifying resins. The morphology of the product can slightly change over several months of storage time. A softening point increase within the range of several degrees is typical.

ULTRA-PEP™ 90 is a multi functional processing additive. ULTRA-PEP™ 90 works as a mild mastication agent in the early stage of NR compounding and subsequently aids filler dispersion and down line processing, like extrusion and mold flow. Since the mastication effect is slower than with common peptizing agents, fewer break downs of polymer chains can be observed, resulting in better physical and dynamic properties. ULTRA-PEP™ 90 can be added in the masterbatch compound with other compounding ingredients and therefore a pre-mastication step is not needed. As such, additional cost saving could be achieved.
ULTRA-PLAST™ TP06

ULTRA-PLAST™ TPO6 is predominantly used as a slip agent in PE-films. This is due to migration and formation of a microscopic coating on the film surface. It migrates slower than ULTRA-PLAST™ TP05 but has a better heat stability. ULTRA-PLAST™ TP06 improves mold release and surface finish. It also functions as a dispersant in concentrates which leads to easier let-down of the concentrates. ULTRA-PLAST™ TP06 is sanctioned for use by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in a number of applications listed in the sections of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

ULTRA-FLOW™ 440 is a processing additive for application in natural and synthetic rubber. Due to its unique composition it provides excellent improvement of processing properties for a broad range of elastomers of high and low polarity. ULTRA-FLOW™ 440 improves filler dispersion, in particular silica and other mineral fillers. ULTRA-FLOW™ 440 shows outstanding performance in extruded compounds, but also works well for transfer and injection molding. ULTRA-FLOW™ 440 complies with FDA 177.2600 and BfR XXI.

ULTRA-FLOW™ 800 is a zinc free dispersing aid for both carbon black and white fillers. It is particularly applied where zinc soaps are restricted. In the presence of silane coupling agents, ULTRA-FLOW™ 800 should be added after the silanization process is completed.

ULTRA-PLAST™ TPO5 is predominantly used as a slip agent in PE-films. This is due to migration and formation of a microscopic coating on the film surface. ULTRA-PLAST™ TP05 shows the same uniform surface coating in injection molded articles, thus leading to improved mold release and surface finish. This is valuable in processing of thermoplastics resins and elastomers (TPE's) and thermoset rubber systems. ULTRA-PLAST™ TP05 also functions as a dispersant in concentrates which leads to easier let-down of the concentrates. ULTRA-PLAST™ TP05 is sanctioned for use by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in a number of applications listed in the sections of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
