Paraffin wax is made up of straight chain, saturated hydrocarbons with low oil content. Koster Keunen carries an assortment of different straight cut paraffins which vary by molecular weight and melt point to best fit your requirements.

Koster Keunen Castor Wax is derived from the plant Ricinus communis. The oil is hydrogenated to make this hard, brittle, high melt point vegetable wax. Koster Keunen Castor Wax can be used in all cosmetic and personal care products. It is used to thicken emulsions, bind antiperspirants and can work to disperse pigments. It is widely used in lip balms, anhydrous systems and color cosmetics.

The SynKos Wax Series is comprised of white, synthetic waxes with unique gelling and texturizing capabilities. SynKos waxes are synthetic polymers that are highly compatible, cost effective waxes that can also replace petrochemical waxes, petrolatum and polyethylene.

Kester Wax K-24, a low molecular weight natural ester, provides a natural that is highly compatible with most cosmetic ingredients. It is certified by the Natural Products Association (NPA) and accepted by the strictest guidelines in the natural community.

Koster Keunen Soy Wax is available in both a partially hydrogenated or fully hydrogenated version. Multiple hydrogenated fractions of the natural oil increase stability of the product and alter the melt point for specific formulating.
