Finer micronized grades are useful in formulating higher gloss paints and systems requiring controlled particle top size such as Industrial OEM topcoat coats and non-conductive inks. Intermediate size grades offer ideal and uniform gloss control for topcoats, coil coats and increased inter-coat adhesion between primers and topcoats. Coarser grades offer high solids loading with low viscosity,  texture, anti-skid  and abrasion resistance in industrial floor coatings and exterior deck coatings.

It is a wetting and dispersing agent that enables organic, inorganic pigments, and carbon blacks to be more easily dispersed and remain more stable in the paint.

DeCAL 1005 is a hydrophobically modified synthetic alkali-swellable, solvent-free, and liquid thickener for waterborne systems. It is highly effective in increasing low shear viscosities as well as yield values. As a result, levels of use can be significantly reduced when replacing the usual low shear effective thickeners with DeCAL 1005.

AFCONA 2505 is a water-based defoamer and anti-foam, especially designed for micro foams. It is an organically modified polysiloxane, providing good defoaming and anti-foaming properties in all water-based coatings. It offers excellent performance against micro foam, even in high shear applications such as long period grinding. It maintains its good defoaming and anti-foam performance under high shear conditions.

DeCAL VMAP is a product used to enhance the coherence of concrete components, thereby preventing the segregation and settlement of mortar and aggregate from the concrete. It is recommended for use in pumpable concrete, especially when pumped over long distances under high pressure. DeCAL VMAP is highly effective in reducing bleeding and generally enhances the structure of the concrete.

The chemical composition of the raw material and the finished product is closely monitored, and the particle size is kept within a narrow variation. Portafill® A micronized functional fillers are used in thermosetting powder coatings as an alternative to barium sulfate, when the high density is a limitation. In addition, Portafill® A fillers are less prone to the phenomenon known as "water spotting" in comparison to barium sulfate. It has very good chemical inertness (for outdoor and chemical applications).

AFCONA 5030 is a cationic wetting and dispersing additive to improve the wetting of pigment surfaces, especially carbon black and organically treated bentonites. AFCONA 5030 is an additive for pigment dispersion. It reduces the interfacial tension between pigments or extenders and the vehicle. It stabilizes the pigments through electrical charge repulsion forces.

Syntran® 1940 is based on a proprietary "green" crosslinking technology. This technology combines the traditional water-based styrene acrylate copolymer with a proprietary self-crosslinking system that will add extended life to green floor polishes. This technology also allows for high abrasion resistance, low maintenance, and high speed burnishing floor finishes that are still removable with standard stripping solutions.

TYTAN™ APZ900 is a zirconium complex with α-hydroxy acid ester that can be used as an adhesion promoter for printing, crosslinker for paints and as a catalyst for esterification. Due to its chelated structure, TYTAN™ APZ900 shows a delayed reaction at ambient temperature and thus facilitates the storage stability of inks. Compared with organo-titanate adhesion promoters, it shows good compatibility with PVB, CAB, and CAP inks and provides minimal discoloration during the sterilizing process in the printing of milk pouches.

PerformaSil™ 300 Roof Coating is a water-based elastomeric silicone coating that provides protection against harsh weather elements, UV degradation, and ponding water issues. It provides a flexible seal that resists lateral movements of roofing structures due to thermal expansion and contractions of the roofing structure. It repels physical water while being very permeable to water vapor allowing the structure to “breath.” Suitable for a variety of roofing substrates, it provides easy water clean-up with no solvents required for tool clean-up or overspray. The grade is an ideal problem-solving dispersant and is compatible with a wide range of organic and inorganic fillers and pigments utilized in water-borne systems. DeCAL 2031 is applicable in the coatings and adhesive industries but is also tailored to the agrochemical sectors, where it can be used as a stabilizer for concentrated emulsions, a dispersing agent for concentrated suspensions, and in the preparation of suspoemulsions.
