LRBG Chemicals USA RUFR 1006M is an off-white/yellow latex intumescent fire-retardant polyurethane coating designed as a primer coating for wood and engineered wood composites. When applied and dried, it creates a low-gloss protective primer coating. When exposed to temperatures above 200°C, it creates a multicellular protective char layer that shields the wood substrate beneath it from the fire. This system has excellent adhesion to wood composites and yields low flame spread and smoke development ratings. It may be crosslinked with low levels of polycarbodiimide or melamine/urea crosslinkers to achieve excellent water resistance in the surface coating.

Intumax EP200C is a unique two component epoxy fire retardant – intumescent coating based on our proprietary non-halogenated phosphate technology. All of our phosphates are manufactured in house for our exclusive use. When exposed to heat and/or fire, INTUMAX®EP-200C forms a continuous char foam that protects products from both heat and flame. The active ingredients in INTUMAX® products are not water soluble and will not leach out over time. INTUMAX®EP-200C is recommended for use as a base resin for specialty coatings. The viscosity is easily reduced by the addition of solvents. Pigments, anti- settling agents and other flame retardants may also be incorporated.

Albi Cote FRL-X is a water-based, co-polymer intumescent fireproofing coating, which provides excellent fire-retardant properties. Albi Cote FRL-X is odor-free and offers the advantages of easy application and cleanup. This durable fireretardant coating provides a serviceable, wash-resistant flat finish for a wide variety of interior applications. Designed for interior use, Albi Cote FRL-X is a quick drying special coating that reacts to flame or heat by expanding into a thick multicellular insulating blanket. This intumescent carbonaceous foam sharply limits the spread of flame and insulates the surface to which it is applied. It provides a decorative, washable and mar-resistant finish.

PyroCide II is a flame retardant intumescent coating comprised of an intumescent system in a water resistant polymer latex. It provides excellent flame retardancy to a variety of substrate without degrading or altering them in either their active or passive state.

DC5040 is a water based thin film intumescent coating used to provide fire resistance to common construction assemblies such as gypsum walls, floor/ ceilings and engineered wood framing members such as I-Joists.

PyroCide White is a water-based latex intumescent coating specifically designed for spray application on wood based building materials. It is non-yellowing, high hiding, low gloss, and clean white in appearance.

Intumax EP 102W is a two-part waterborne epoxy intumescent coating. It is engineered to provide a protective coating that combines toughness and wear resistance with low flame spread, low heat transfer and low smoke. In addition, the smoke generated is low in toxicity. The char foam that is formed rises in 20 - 40 seconds. Once this char layer forms, smoke generation is almost entirely eliminated; the burning ceases, and coated surfaces are thermally insulated. Intumax EP102W cures within 24 hours at room temperature to a tack free coating while providing close to 3 hours of working life. For ease of application or for spraying, Intumax EP102W is readily thinned with tap water.

Albi Cote IB s a proprietary, water based, 1-part, non-flammable, intumescing coating complying with AC 377 ICC ES for interior use. This coating expands up to 2000% and provides oxygen starvation when in contact with fire. This barrier coating / ignition barrier comes in both insulating and fire extinguishing versions and is a non-toxic, drain safe, no fuming, water-based coating. Albi Cote IB has low-viscosity for ease of application.

Firetect® WT-103 is a Class B (Class 2) interior, intumescent, clear flat water-based coating for application over raw wood. WT-103 may also be used for application over other decorative materials when tested by a certified laboratory.

INTUMAX_x005F_x0004_ EP1115 is recommended for use as a base resin for specialty coatings. The viscosity is easily reduced by the addition of solvents. Pigments, antisettling agents and other flame retardants may also be incorporated.

Firetect® WT-102 is a Class A (Class 1 and Class 2) non-hazardous, non-toxic, flat interior, latex-based flame-retardant intumescent coating for application over raw wood, closed-cell polystyrene & other surfaces tested by a certified lab. WT-102 has excellent adhesion abilities.

FIRESHELL® F5E is a proprietary non-flammable, intumescing (expands up to 2000%), flexible, ductile, elastomeric coating that is suitable for interior or exterior use. It is a non-toxic, water based, drain safe, no fuming product. FIRESHELL® passes ASTM E119 - 1 and 2 hour wall tests, UL263 - 1 and 2 hour wall tests, and E84 class A certified. It is a waterbased one part coating system that comes light gray and black but can be custom colored. This coating can be latex or oil based topcoated.

Flame Control No. 40-40A is a Class "A", low-gloss, interior-exterior general-purpose latex, (water base) coating. It is rated for use on noncombustible surfaces, and as a topcoat for Flame Control Intumescent Fire-Retardant Paint. It dries quickly to yield a highly cleansible-scrubbable water resistant film that possesses excellent adhesion, flexibility and toughness. No. 40-40A is suitable for application to all interior surfaces (except floors and shelving). Exterior application: May be used on exterior masonry surfaces where a highly water resistant, decorative, fire retardant coating is desired.

BURN BARRIER™ – 10-10 is a solvent-based intumescent fire retardant paint and is manufactured in accordance with Federal Specification TT-P-26C. It is designed for use on interior surfaces. The coating dries quickly to a velvety flat finish, having the appearance of conventional paint. Upon exposure to fire, BURN BARRIER™ – 10-10 puffs up (intumesces), forming a dense cellular foam layer. This foam layer greatly reduces the surface burning characteristics of combustible materials and retards the penetration of heat to metal surfaces.

FlameOFF® Fire Barrier paint is a decorative, thin-film intumescent coating designed for fire protection of Gypsum/Sheetrock and Wood interior applications that require ASTM E119, ASTM E84, NFPA 251, ULC CAN S-101.

FireShell® F10E is a water-based, single-component, non-flammable, intumescent, interior coating designed to expand in the event of a fire to provide a protective layer of char that could starve fire of oxygen and prevent flame contact with protected surfaces. It is a non-toxic, drain-safe and non fuming product.

Albi Clad TF is a water-base intumescent thin film fireproofing material for use wherever interior fireproofing will be exposed to view or be subject to potential damage from external sources. This hard, durable, abrasion resistant product has a smooth, esthetic finish. Albi Clad TF is ideal for application in occupied areas or other locations where solventbase fireproofing materials cannot be used.

Firetect® FR-10 is an interior clear, Class B, semi-gloss latex-based flame-retardant coating for use over raw wood. FR-10 can be used in conjunction with Firetect WT-102, Class A, intumescent latex flame-retardant paint for additional flame-retardant gloss and properties.

Albi Clad 800 is an intumescent mastic coating applied to structural steel, concrete and other construction materials for the purposes of fire protection. Albi Clad 800 carries a wide range of UL listings for interior and exterior uses under both the E-119 and the UL 1709 High Rise Hydrocarbon test criteria.

PyroCide™ Clear is a two component thin film intumescent coating formulated for existing and new wood structures where the appearance of the wood is important. PyroCide™ Clear will not bubble, haze or crack. It has enough water resistance for interior applications to allow the coating to have an occasional wipe with a damp cloth and maintain its finish.An intumescent coating is a proprietary formulated blend of compounds which, at ambient temperatures, remain perfectly stable and nonreactive. When the temperature increases, its components undergo a chemical reaction and produce an extended char. This carbonaceous char has a volume many times that of the original thin coating and its low thermal conductivity provides insulation and protects the substrate from the effects of fire propagation.

Flame Control No. 170 is a flexible, intumescent type, fire resistant coating. When attacked by fire and/or high heat, the coating puffs up (intumesces) and forms a thick dense fire barrier, thus affording maximum burn through (fire) protection. This foam layer retards the penetration of heat to the substrate, thus insulating the surface.

INTUMAX EP1115X HP is a unique two-component epoxy fire retardant – intumescent coating based on our proprietary non-halogenated phosphate technology. All of our phosphates are manufactured in house for our exclusive use. When exposed to heat and/or fire, INTUMAX EP1115X HP forms a robust, dense char insulation layer that protects a variety of substrates from the effects of heat and flame. The active ingredients in INTUMAX products are not water-soluble and will not leach out over time.

DC310 fireproof cable coating for wires and cable is developed using innovative intumescent technology. It is a heavy-duty intumescent coating for interior applications used to effectively prevent flame spread. When a fire occurs, the coating will rapidly intumesce to form a foam char layer that prevents fire propagation. DC310 fireproof cable coating is water-based, asbestos-free, non-halogenated, and environmentally-friendly. DC310 can protect cables for up to 90minutes at 1,100⁰C as per UL 1709 hydrocarbon temperature curve.

Flame Control No. 20-20A is a Class "A", interior, low VOC, water base, flat latex, fire retardant paint, manufactured in accordance with Federal Specification TT-P-001932. 20-20A will also provide a 30- minute rating when two coats are applied at the recommended application rates. This coating dries quickly to a flat finish, having the appearance of a conventional flat latex paint. In the presence of heat or flame the coating puffs up (intumesces) and forms a thick, sponge like cellular foam layer; this foam layer insulates the substrate reducing the penetration of heat, thus retarding the flame spread and delaying structural failure.

DC333 Intumescent Fireproof Primer is a water-based intumescent coating used to increase fire resistance ratings of construction materials like OSB/Plywood, gypsum and lumber. DC 333 is also effective at reducing flame spread ratings of materials not required to meet resistance ratings. Applied as a primer to interior surfaces, DC 333 can be top-coated with desired finish latex paint to match decor.

Albi Clad TF + is a water-based intumescent coating designed for the fire protection of interior structural steel.

PyroCide EX-4 is a flame retardant, intumescent powder that imparts flame retardancy to water-based latex coatings, solvent based resin coatings, caulks, mastics, and sealants. The products can also be added to various plastics and polyurethane foams as a flame retardant system.

Firetect® PC-201 provides effective flexible fire retardancy for polyurethane, polyester and polyethylene foams and other cushioning materials. PC-201 will not affect the resiliency of the foam or padding material. Additional tests have shown that the treated surfaces have improved resistance to oxidation and other forms of chemical deterioration; therefore, a better life can be expected from materials treated with PC-201. Due to various forms on the market, users must perform their testing to comply with the specific code required by the fire code.

Intumax LAY41 is a unique one component latex fire retardant - intumescent coating based on our proprietary non-halogenated phosphate technology. All of our phosphates are manufactured in house for our exclusive use. When exposed to heat and/or fire, INTUMAX®LAY41 forms a continuous, dense char foam that protects products from both heat and flame. Additionally, INTUMAX®LAY41 offers very low smoke generation during char formation. We have achieved an equivalent Class A flame spread rating in house. The active ingredients in INTUMAX® products are not soluble in water and will not leach out over time. INTUMAX®LAY41 is recommended for use as a coating for wood, composites, plastics or metals. The viscosity is easily reduced by the addition of water. Pigments, anti-settling agents, and other flame retardants may also be incorporated. INTUMAX®LAY41 can be brushed on, rolled on, or sprayed on. 2 coats are recommended at a minimum. Wait minimum 30 minutes between coats.

Albi Clad FP is a water-base intumescent thin film fireproofing material for protection to wood, sheetrock and other combustible substrates. This hard, durable, abrasion resistant product has a smooth, esthetic finish. Albi Clad FP is ideal for application in occupied areas or other locations where solvent-base fireproofing materials cannot be used. Because of its water-base formulation Albi Clad FP is fully compliant with EPA VOC limits and regulations.

Zeller International Intumescent Paints 183 is a unique coating that forms an insulative, crusty char when exposed to heat and fire, puffs up instantly to form a foam-like, protective cellular shield.

DC 6150 Cable Coating is a non-halogenated, asbestos-free, non-toxic, flexible, ablative fire retardant cable coating designed to prevent the propagation of fire along plastic jacketed electrical cables. DC 6150 Cable Coating is FM Approved and tested to ensure it can withstand extreme conditions such as freeze/thaw cycles and saltwater immersion. This testing also ensures that the protective coating does not de-rate the cable current carrying capacity. DC 6150 Cable Coating is a water-based latex and is suitable for both interior and exterior use.

Paradigm Labs Pyromescent is a one-part water based intumescent coating similar in appearance to ordinary latex base paint. Upon exposure to flame or heat, it immediately foams and swells (intumesces) providing an effective non-combus- tible insulation and heat shield to protect the subsurface. Pyromescent also cures to a durable, mold-resistant protective coating for the long-lasting protection of most construction materials.. It can be used for the protection of post-remediation surfaces as well as new construction applications. Pyromescent contains EPA-registered mi- crobiocides to prevent mold, mildew, algae, bacteria and biological growth on the coating surface. Pyromescent can be applied to many types of surfaces providing an at- tractive flat finish. Pyromescent passes fire retardancey tests ASTM E 119 and E 84. Pyromescent low-VOC for- mula contributes 1 point via LEED Credit 4.2 (low-emitting paints & coatings) to any project.

DC315 Fireproof Paint is a fully tested and approved intumescent coating to meet 15-minute alternative Thermal Barrier and Ignition Barrier protection over Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF). DC315 meets IBC/IRC codes in the USA, Canadian NBCC and many international Building Code Requirements.
