Altron™ LSG PC is a polymer made from polycarbonate (PC) and is available in the form of plates and rods. It boasts a wide range of features, including hydrocarbon resistance, ethylene oxide sterilizability, impact resistance, hot water resistance, biocompatibility, X-ray sterilizability, alkali resistance, excellent toughness, life science grade, no animal-derived components, gamma sterilizability, odorlessness, excellent dielectric properties, and acid resistance. Transparent in color, it finds applications in medical devices and assemblies, as well as in housings and enclosures, including those for medical device housings, analyzers, and bioreactor equipment.

Altron™ 1000 PC machine grade polycarbonate is a transparent, amorphous thermoplastic that offers exceptional impact strength and elasticity, minimal moisture absorption, and outstanding resistance to acidic solutions. MECHETEC® PC (Polycarbonate) is a transparent thermoplastic that exhibits extraordinary impact resistance and excellent electrical properties. In addition, its low moisture absorption rate and good chemical resistance make it an extremely versatile engineering material and allows for its use in a multitude of industrial applications. LevSurf F18 is a 3D formable film for IMD processing. The hard coating is fully cured which prevents damage during processing and during the lifetime of the product. The foil has a high optical qualty with the intention of integrating high resolution displays. The PC base film is printable with suitable inks for IMD processing. LevSurfTM is a UV cured film for film insert molding (IMD/FIM) with excellent hardness and formability. Due to the high optical quality it can substitute display glass, lowering the vehicle weight and therefore contributing to the reduction of cost and CO2 emissions.

Exolon® WS - Welding Shield sheets are polycarbonate sheets which comply with requirements for transparent screens in arc welding processes. They protect against the hazardous radiation emitted during arc welding processes and meet the requirements on light transmission, UV-stability and fire resistance specified in EN ISO 25980: 2014. The sheets are available in different colors. Exolon® WS sheets offer extreme impact strength that exceeds the physical properties of other products of their class. They resist to temperatures of -100 to +120°C.

The sheets are produced with a coextruded UV-protective layer, which is homogeneously fused with the sheet material.This UV-protected side must be installed facing upwards/outwards. Trizod® MG Machine Grade Polycarbonate 1600-0625xxxx is clear and has a blue tint with a thickness of 0.625 inches.

Mar-Con® 551 Polycarbonate (Forming Grade) is an abrasion resistant plastic sheet product designed for a variety of high performance end uses in which the sheet will be heat formed or bent into soft radius shapes. It is a premium, high optic grade, polycarbonate sheet, coated with SciCron’s Mar-Con 551 advanced technology crosslinked coating. This coating has excellent resistance to a wide variety of chemicals and solvents and is considerably more abrasion resistant than the polycarbonate plastic substrate. This combination of properties provides enhanced resistance to hazing, abrasion, and marring of the sheet surfaces from cleaning, handling, and defacement efforts. Mar-Con® 551 Polycarbonate - FG also exhibits excellent impact resistance and flame spread properties. This product can be used in many more applications than would be practical for an uncoated polycarbonate sheet. Mar-Con 551 can also be applied to thin gage materials without suffering from distortions caused by typical thermal curing coating processes.

It also offers improved flammability performance over general purpose PC. It has a thickness of 1.5 mm and 3.0 mm and V0 at a thickness of 6.0 mm.
