KTI is an industry leader in the research, development and application of functional surface coatings and adhesives operating a roll-to-roll (R2R) process on a wide range of flexible substrates. KTI has been providing coating and laminating solutions for over 30 years worldwide.

KTI's manufacturing location consists of more than 360 acres with an 110,000 square foot manufacturing and corporate office facility. In 1995 KTI became ISO certified and currently maintains ISO 9001:2015 certification.

KTI also supports an onsite 13,000 square foot Research and Development Center. This facility houses some of the most advanced measuring and analytical instruments available all devoted to the development and testing of new substrates and coating mixtures with technology required to manufacture them. KB-FILMS were designed in response to needs in the Display, Touchscreen, ITO Sputtering and Metallizing markets for coated polyester films with the highest optical quality, overall cleanliness, pristine cosmetics, range of surface treatments, available adhesion promoting coatings while being scratch and chemical resistant.  KB-FILMS are coated and converted at Kimoto’s Japanese manufacturing sites under Class 100 cleanroom conditions. The KB line of films provides a high performance process component for integration into flexible printed electronics, displays, smart windows, capacitive touch panels, printed sensors, smart cards, etc.

KB-Film™ CUA is a transparent base films that were created to meet the stringent quality standards requested by the electronic industry. The products conform with the highest optical quality and offer outstanding product stability and performance. Depending on the production process, the substrates are designed and produced with different surface treatments and coatings. We offer films that are ideal to reach low electrical resistance during ITO sputtering or offer good printability for various conductive inks.

KB-Film™ CUA

LevSurf F04 is a 3D formable film for IMD processing. The hard coating is fully cured which prevents damage during processing and during the lifetime of the product. The foil has a high optical qualty with the intention of integrating high resolution displays. The PC base film is printable with suitable inks for IMD processing. LevSurfTM is a UV cured film for film insert molding (IMD/FIM) with excellent hardness and formability. Due to the high optical quality it can substitute display glass, lowering the vehicle weight and therefore contributing to the reduction of cost and CO₂ emissions.

KB-Film CPA is a hardcoated PET material that is used as the base for producing alternative conductive layers. Our hardcoat technology protects the surface from damage and scratches during the production and use.
