VINNAPAS® CA 5317 is an aqueous polymer dispersion based on vinyl acetate and ethylene. It is particularly suited for backcoatings of woven materials, needle felt floor coverings, and tufted carpets. The dispersion combines a high solid content with a moderate viscosity. VINNAPAS® CA 5317 is not produced with any added organic solvents or plasticizers.

VINNAPAS® EP 907 is a vinyl acetate/ethylene-based dispersion specifically designed for nonwoven applications that require breakdown and re-dispersion in water. When used as a binder, substrates bound with VINNAPAS® EP 907 exhibit good dry tensile strength but easily disintegrate upon exposure to water. This makes it suitable for nonwoven applications where a stiff hand and dry tensile properties are desired. When agitated in water, substrates bound with VINNAPAS® EP 907 break down into smaller fragments of individual fibers. The dispersion is stabilized with an APEO-free surfactant system and has a low formaldehyde level of less than 50 ppm.
