STEPAN® MWA-251 is a 100% active nonionic surfactant used as a wetting agent and for co-emulsification of difficult-to-solubilize components. It can be used as an emulsifier and coupling agent for metalworking formulations. It shows improved lubrication by showing a reduced average scar when compared to the current industry standard.

BIO-SOFT® N1-7 is a c11 linear alcohol ethoxylate delivering fast wetting, moderate to high foam, emulsification abilities, and effective detergency. NINOL® 40CO-E is a cochin oil-based dea amide providing viscosity building with foam boosting and stabilization. This liquid nonionic surfactant is used in shampoos, bubble baths, light-duty liquids, cutting fluids, drawing compounds, and metalworking cleaners. The product is bio-based, kosher-certified, naturally derived, plant-derived, and sulfate-free.

STEPAN® MWA-395 is a phosphate ester and can be used as an emulsifier and extreme pressure agent in synthetic and semi-synthetic metalworking fluids. It can be used as a component of lubricants, gear and chain oils, metalworking fluids, hydraulic fluids, and plasticizers. It is soluble in water and slightly soluble in oil, yielding very low surface tension and cmc values.

STEPAN® MWA-261 is a nonionic surfactant designed for low-foaming and defoaming applications. It can also be used functionally as a dispersant and wetting agent and is soluble in ethanol, isopropanol, methanol, toluene, xylene, and perchloroethylene solvents. It can be used as an emulsifier and lubricant in synthetic and semi-synthetic metalworking fluids and as a component of lubricants, gear and chain oils, metalworking fluids, hydraulic fluids, and plasticizers.

MAKON® 25R2 stands as a notable nonionic reverse EO/PO block copolymer, prized for its swift-breaking, low foaming, and defoaming capabilities. MAKON® 8 serves similarly to makon® 12, functioning as a high-active nonionic surfactant with versatile applications. Its use spans agricultural applications, detergents, sanitizers, industrial cleaners, metal cleaners, textiles, and paper deinking. Just like MAKON® 8's counterpart, it holds kosher certification.

STEPAN® MWA-160 is a powder sodium lauryl sulfate product for use in metalworking applications. It is used in the emulsification of components and can enable improved performance in metal cleaning. It can also be used to efficiently remove oil from metal surfaces.

SILFOAM® SRE is a versatile antifoam that contains 20% active ingredients and 33% solids. It is relatively rich in emulsifier but has a low viscosity, making it easy to measure accurately. SILFOAM® SRE also demonstrates high resistance to alkalis and acids, allowing for its application in a wide range of pH-sensitive scenarios.

SILFOAM® SC 369 is a medium viscosity antifoam agent with a 100% active ingredient content. It is formulated with an organically modified silicone fluid. Compared to antifoam agents based on pure silicone fluids (PDMS), SILFOAM® SC 369 demonstrates enhanced compatibility with organic systems in general.

SILFOAM® SD 882 is an anhydrous, low viscosity antifoam agent that has the ability to form a fine dispersion when introduced to water or highly polar systems. Its degree of organomodification allows it to effectively control negative effects such as surface defects and separation tendencies.

SILFOAM® SC 370 is a medium viscosity antifoam agent that offers stability against hydrolysis. It contains 100% active ingredients and is formulated with an organically modified silicone fluid. In contrast to antifoam agents based on pure silicone fluids (PDMS), SILFOAM® SC 370 generally demonstrates improved compatibility with organic systems.

SILFOAM® SD 670 is an anhydrous antifoam agent based on organofunctional silicone fluids, which exhibit high compatibility with organic systems. SILFOAM® SD 670 is a self-dispersing product that spontaneously forms a fine dispersion when added to water. It is recommended for all organic systems that require a highly compatible antifoam agent.

SILFOAM® SD 860 is an anhydrous silicone antifoam agent formulated with organofunctional silicone fluid and organic components. It exhibits excellent dispersibility in water. This antifoam agent is particularly suitable for use in organic systems that require a high level of compatibility with the antifoam agent. SILFOAM® SD 860 can effectively address challenges commonly encountered by silicones in various applications, including paints, adhesives, and water-miscible cooling lubricants.

HDK® H18 is a synthetic, hydrophobic, amorphous silica produced via flame hydrolysis. It is a white colloidal powder of high purity. HDK® H18 is used as a thickening and thixotropic agent in composites, coatings, adhesives, and sealants, particularly in vinylester, epoxy, and polyurethane systems.

SILFOAM® SE 1661 is a water-dilutable antifoam emulsion with a medium viscosity and excellent storage stability, thanks to its nonionic emulsifier system. This product serves the dual purpose of preventing foam formation (as an antifoam) and eliminating existing foam (as a defoamer) in a wide range of aqueous systems. SILFOAM® SE 1661 is particularly well-suited for applications where the use of silicones could typically present challenges, such as PVC degassing, the manufacturing and processing of polymer dispersions for textiles, paper, paints, surface coatings, and adhesives, as well as cooling lubricants and textile formulations.

SILFOAM® SE 39 is a low-viscosity antifoam emulsion known for its long-lasting efficiency. It is especially well-suited for surfactant-rich formulations like liquid detergents and textile auxiliaries. SILFOAM® SE 39 is particularly effective in applications where high surfactant concentrations or intense product movement would quickly render conventional antifoam emulsions ineffective.

AEROSIL® R 202 is a hydrophobic fumed silica grade, treated with a polydimethylsiloxane. This product can be used in defoamer formulations for sedimentation stabilization and due to its high hydrophobicity as defoaming component.

TEGO® Antifoam 793 is a 100% active defoamer concentrate utilizing polyether-modified siloxanes. It functions as a defoamer primarily in fluids and lubricant applications. Available in liquid form, this product belongs to the chemical family of polyether siloxanes. It is used in various industrial settings, including metalworking fluids, hydraulic oils, and fluids, as well as textile auxiliaries.

AEROSIL® 200 is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 200 m²/g.

TEGO® Antifoam 1488 is a versatile emulsion-based anti-foaming agent tailored for various applications. It effectively controls foam formation in processes like emulsion polymerization and textile sizing. With good compatibility, it finds use in diverse industrial additives, including metalworking fluids and nonwovens. This emulsion-type additive is available in drums, catering to different production scales. Its performance spans markets like adhesives and sealants, fluids and lubricants, and building materials. TEGO® SML 20 is a liquid emulsifier that is non-ionic and made of polyoxyethylene-(20)-sorbitan monolaurate. It is used as a solubilizer for oils and dyestuffs, as well as a defoamer and antistatic agent in textile formulations. TEGO® SML 20 is compatible with anionic, cationic, and amphoteric surfactants due to its non-ionic nature. It is also biodegradable and has good environmental behavior. When used as a co-emulsifier, it exhibits synergistic effects with other surfactants.

AEROSIL® R 974 is hydrophobic fumed silica grades treated with DDS (Dichlordimethylsilane). The moderate hydrophobicity of these AEROSIL® products is suited for defoaming properties in the presence of appropriate hydrophobic liquids. They are recommended for improving the sedimentation stability of defoamer dispersions as well.

AEROSIL® 300 is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 300 m²/g.

AEROSIL® R 106 is a hydrophobic fumed silica after treated with D4 (Octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane).

AEROXIDE® Alu C is a fine-particulate, pure aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) with high specific surface area and marked aggregate and agglomerate structure. Because of it high purity and low water content, the product can be used well as an additive to anorganic materials, for heat insulation, and also as a catalyst substrate. The positive surface charge can be used to control the electrostatic charge.

TEGO® Antifoam 2080 is a liquid antifoam formulated with organo-modified siloxanes. It excels in controlling foam within non-aqueous media, primarily finding its application in metalworking fluids. This product functions as an effective anti-foaming agent, contributing to the enhancement of fluid and lubricant solutions in the realm of industrial technology.

TEGO® Antifoam 3062 is an emulsion antifoam featuring organo-modified siloxanes, primarily functioning as an anti-foaming agent. Notably compatible, it is suitable for use in the paper and pulp industry, especially in the production of coated paper and paperboard. In addition, it finds application in pressure-sensitive adhesive formulations within the CASE ingredients category.

TAGAT® V 20 is a non-ionic emulsifier that is based on POE-20 glycerol oleoricinoleate. It is a low-foaming emulsifier that finds use in a wide range of applications such as metal working fluids, concrete release agents, textile auxiliary formulations, and pulp and paper defoamers. TAGAT® V 20 is derived from natural raw materials, which makes it dermatologically safe and environmentally friendly. It has excellent emulsifying and stabilizing properties, which ensure the formation of finely dispersed and long-lasting stable oil-in-water emulsions. TAGAT® V 20 also enhances the solubility of biocides in mineral oil-based lubricants and improves the lubricating properties of water-mixed fluids. It has a low foaming tendency and provides excellent thermal stability.

TEGO® Antifoam MR 1015 is a highly efficient 70% active antifoam concentrate that is based on modified siloxanes. Its unique formulation and modification of the active material provide excellent efficiency and maximum compatibility, making it a superior product compared to traditional silicone oil-based antifoams. TEGO® Antifoam MR 1015 eliminates undesirable effects such as silicone spotting and fish eyes in most applications. It is highly stable in alkaline and electrolyte environments, even at higher temperatures. Additionally, TEGO® Antifoam MR 1015 is easily dispersible in water, making it easy to handle. It is an ideal antifoam concentrate for a wide range of applications where maximum compatibility and excellent efficiency are required.

AEROSIL® 200 HV is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 200 m²/g.

Lutensol® XP 40 is a nonionic surfactant manufactured by causing a C10-alcohol to react with ethylene oxide in stoichiometric proportions. It is a cloudy liquid at room temperature and tends to form sediment. The numeric code in the product name indicates the general degree of ethoxylation.

Klearfac® AA 270, a biodegradable anionic phosphate ester surfactant, is highly stable in caustic environments and will not discolor upon direct contact with NaOH beads. While a defoamer may be necessary, it serves as an exceptional emulsifier and effective solubilizing agent for nonionics in high electrolyte solutions.

Plurafac® D 250 is a non-ionic emulsifier that is suitable for oily soils, with a cloud point of 59°C and moderate foaming properties. It belongs to the EO/PO alcohol surfactant category and functions as a good non-ionic emulsifier for oily soils.

Plurafac® SL 62 is a moderately low-foaming surfactant with a cloud point of 62°C. It is suitable for high-temperature cleaning applications above 60°C, especially in food and beverage processing and industrial cleaning, offering cleaning with low foam as a significant benefit.

Lutensol® TDA 9 is a versatile non-ionic surfactant that serves as a workhorse for laundry applications. Its hydrophobe is derived from a natural fatty alcohol, and it is available as approximately 100% active. The cloud point of this surfactant is 60°C. It offers excellent rapid wetting properties, relatively low foaming levels, and good detergency. In addition, it has the ability to function as an emulsifier, dispersant, and solubilizer.
