STEPAN MWA-160 is a is a sodium lauryl sulfate produced from the sulfation of fatty alcohol via Stepan's SO₃ process. The product of this process is then spray dried to produce a high active powder of exceptional quality. STEPAN MWA-160 is used in the emulsification of components and can enable improved performance in metal cleaning in metalworking applications. It can be used to efficiently remove oil from metal surfaces.
