Plenco® 08112 is a general purpose polyester bulk molding compound that is characterized by adding utility to a number of applications. Because of its combination of high heat resistance, good electrical properties and strength. Customers have found this material useful for such applications as iron skirts and other small appliance housings, coil bobbins, and electric motor components such as brush holders. It is available in either bulk or extruded form. Colors are available upon request. It is UL recognized under file E40654.

Plenco® 08228 is a glass fiber reinforced polyester bulk molding compound. Plenco® 08228 is formulated for high-strength, low warpage, and a wide processing window. It is available in bulk or extruded form, with custom matched colors available upon request.

Cuyahoga Plastics AB5000 is a UV resistant, flame retardant, glass-reinforced polyester thermoset suitable for outdoor applications. Compression, transfer, and injection molding grades are available. It is currently supplied in bulk form, cut preforms, and box length extrusions.

Plenco® 06343 is a mica reinforced phenolic molding compound, offering for a low power factor, low electrical losses, and good electrical properties after long exposures to high humidity. UL recognized under component file E40654. 06343 is available in natural color.

Plenco® 05350 is a mineral and graphite filled phenolic molding compound. Customers have found this material useful for seal applications. Plenco® 05350 offers excellent dimensional stability, lubricity, and low abrasion properties. 05350 is available in gray. 05350 is not recommended for electrical insulating applications.

Plenco® 04466 is a heat resistant, mineral and flock filled phenolic molding compound, offering excellent mechanical strength and cosmetic properties. UL recognized under component file E40654. 04466 is available in black.

Plenco® 08235 is a 15% glass-filled polyester bulk molding compound characterized as a flame-retardant, medium-strength electrical grade. Customers have found this material useful for a broad range of applications such as capacitor cans, electrical enclosures, etc. It is available in bulk or extruded form, natural and black. Plenco® 06553 is a mineral and glass fiber reinforced two-stage phenolic molding compound, formulated for dimensional stability, good chemical resistance to brake fluids, such as DOT 3 and 4, and should provide grinding to close tolerances. 06553 is UL recognized under component file E40654. 06553 is available in black. 06553 was qualified under military specification MIL-M 14 (superseded by ASTM D-5948) TYPE MFH and batches can, if requested and paid for, be tested for certification to the standard.

Customers have found this material useful for commercial/industrial heavy duty electrical parts, enclosures for power distribution equipment, fuse holders, circuit breaker cases, electric motor housings and components. It is available in Gray color and can be supplied in bulk or extruded form. It is UL recognized under file E40654.

Plenco® 00714 is a melamine-phenolic copolymer molding compound, offering excellent arc resistance and comparative track index values. Toray Toray Cetex® MC1200 is a thermoplastic bulk molding compound (BMC) based upon Cetex TC1200 PEEK thermoplastic uni-directional tape. Toray Cetex® MC1200 is offered on standard-modulus fibers lengths of up to 25.4 mm (1”). Intermediate modulus fibers and alternative lengths may also be available. Thermoplastic bulk molding compound allows part fabrication with short cycle times. This product allows complex shapes to be made with varying wall thickness, integrated ribs, and reinforcing structure. Many composite compression molded parts are used to replace metal parts for weight savings or they replace plastic injection molded parts where higher strengths or stiffness are required.
