Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is considered the world market leader in the production of classic glass-mat-reinforced thermoplastics (GMT). This semi-finished product in panel form was developed primarily as a substitute for metals (steel, aluminum etc.) and its main purchasers can be found in the automotive industry. This is where it is frequently pressed on the industrial scale into complex 3D structural components, although it is also used as panels.

GENIOSIL® CS 2 is an unsaturated alkoxysilane. It is a clear, colorless liquid with a characteristic aromatic odor. In the presence of moisture, it hydrolyzes and liberates alcohol to form silanols that can react with themselves to form siloxanes. As it possesses both silyl and unsaturated organic groups, GENIOSIL® CS 2 acts as a molecular bridge between organic and inorganic substrates.

Woven glass fabric with high temperature phenolic resin. Good flexural, compressive and impact strengths at elevated temperatures. It is capable of continuous operation at 175°C. NP504 has excellent creep resistance because of the phenolic resin system. Meets MIL-I-24768/18 GPG. For NFPA 130 data please reference document NP504 Additional Data Sheet - NFPA 130. Certification to IEC standard is pending.

NP500A is constructed of a woven glass fabric combined with easy-machining, non-brominated epoxy resin. It is engineered to provide NEMA grade G-10 properties, but is easier to machine and more cost effective in many applications. Applications for NP500A include; low temperature thermal insulation, structural applications and various other mechanical, and electrical applications at low to moderately high temperatures. NP500A meets or exceeds the requirements of MIL-I-24768/2.

NP511EM is constructed of a woven glass fabric combined with a high temperature, easy machining epoxy resin. It has excellent mechanical strength and electrical properties at elevated temperatures. The continuous operating temperature is 190°C, in mechanical applications. This material meets NEMA G-11 and MIL-I-24768/3, Type GEB.

NP511 consists of a woven glass fabric combined with high temperature epoxy resin system. NP511 has excellent mechanical strength and electrical properties from cryogenic to elevated temperatures. Continuous operating temperature is 175°C. This material meets NEMA G-11, MIL-I-24768/3, Type GEB and IEC-60893-3-2 EP GC 203.

NP510A is a woven glass fabric composite combined with epoxy resin system. It is engineered to provide NEMA grade FR-4 properties. This material contains bromine on the epoxy resin backbone. NP510A is certifiable to MIL-I-24768/27, Type GEE-F.

NORSODYNE® S 15080 L - Unsaturated polyester resin in styrene,Orthophthalic. It is used to produce transparent and corrugated sheets through continuous laminating method.

Norsodyne® 21033 - promoted and non-waxed, good weathering properties, good water resistance.

Zoltek has developed a new product and sizing chemistry for use in vinyl ester resin systems. Introducing Zoltek’s PX35 Vinyl Ester Compatible Tow product. This new product, based on our proprietary sizing chemistry, exhibits excellent adhesion to and compatibility with vinyl ester resin systems. Most carbon fiber products are used to reinforce epoxy resin systems. Recently, the demand has grown for a product and sizing chemistry that can be used in vinyl ester resins whether cured thermally or via room temperature infusion. When compared to Zoltek’s standard carbon fiber product, PX35 Epoxy Compatible Tow, the new vinyl ester compatible product has significantly higher interlaminar shear strength (ILSS) and transverse flexural strength TFS, which both measure and indicate fiber to resin matrix compatibility and adhesion, as well as, composite performance. Zoltek’s PX35 Vinyl Ester Compatible Continuous Carbon Fiber is manufactured from a polyacrylonitrile (PAN) precursor fiber. The consistency in yield and mechanical properties that are provided by large filament count strands gives the user flexibility to design and manufacture composite materials.

Norsodyne® W-154KI - good transparency, UV stabilized, preaccelerated. Main applications areas are building and construction, home and domestic applications etc.

TYCOR® G5.1 provides designers a cost advantage compared to balsa and structural foam. The fiber-reinforced pre-form core is designed for vacuum infusion. It is comprised of fiberglass webs which develop nearly allthe core’s mechanical properties upon infusing and helps prevent resin race tracking even in contoured shapes. Fine cell foam minimizes excess resin absorption and provides durability during handling and processing. TYCOR® W0.1 engineered core materials optimize weight, stiffness and strength in infused applications enabling structures that can be made lighter, less expesively and more reliably than old generation core materials.

THINPREG™ GF736 is a toughened epoxy adhesive film, with excellent tack and drape characteristics, supplied on a paper backer either in an unsupported format or with an embedded ultra-lightweight glass carrier to aid handling. GF736 offers many advantages for bonding composite laminates, either to other laminates, or to structural cores, including; consistent bond-line thickness and weight, high strain to failure, high toughness, handling convenience, controlled flow and a 6 week out-life at ambient temperature (18-22ºC/64-72ºF).

Barracuda Advanced Composites Divinycell H45 GSP has a chemical structure that offers excellent mechanical properties at low weight. Widely used, the product has proven efficiency in several application areas, including nautical area (leisure, military and commercial), land transport, wind energy, civil engineering and other industrial markets. Divinycell H45 is ideal for applications subject to fatigue and impact. Other advantages include consistency of quality, excellent adhesiveness, excellent chemical resistance, low water absorption and good acoustic insulation and thermal. Divinycell H45 is compatible with most resins and manufacturing processes.

Norsodyne® CMI15100W - modified with mma and UV absorber contained resin for solid surface, good scratch and weathering resistance. Main applications areas are building and construction, industrial sector etc.

ISOVAL® 10 R is made of glass roving fabric using the temperature-resistant ISOVAL® epoxy resin system. This gives the material excellent heat resistance and high compressive strength even at elevated temperatures with low thermal conductivity at the same time. The laminate has a permanent temperature resistance of 180 °C.

Divinycell PX is based on PET, which makes it to a recyclable, thermoplastic sandwich core material. Divinycell PX provides excellent FST (fire, smoke & toxicity) properties, high temperature performance, very good fatigue properties, good mechanical characteristics and chemical resistance. It also offers excellent acoustic/thermal insulation properties and low water absorption. Divinycell PX is particularly ideal for public transportation and industrial applications. The energy efficiency of a Divinycell PX sandwich makes it ideal for transport applications such as interior paneling, floors and exterior panels for trains, trams, busses and coaches. In the industrial/ construction market, the good mechanical and FST properties of Divinycell PX allows it to be used for a wide variety of applications such as domes, architectural claddings and industrial housings.

PREPREG system BD (epoxy resin) are based on modified epoxy resins with high impact strength and excellent dynamic properties. They can be processed into high-strength structural components using all common methods. The hardening range is between 85 ° C and 140 ° C ; the max. heat resistance is 125 ° C . The delivery program with fabric, laid and unidirectional reinforced PREPREGS allows the load-based design of your components.

CORAFOAM® U 310 is used as Polyurethane rigid foam PUR. can be cut with almost any type of tool. Its closed cellular structure and absence of fibers or granular structure result in crisp, excellently defined edges after fabrication. It is also impermeable by any type of liquid, including water and solvents, making it much better suited for severe weather conditions or harsh marine environments than many other materials.

Norsodyne® PT-104 - isophthalic resin for pultrusion. Main applications areas are building and construction, industrial sector etc.

ACM CG600X is Multiaxial Hybrid Fabrics with Standard fabric width of1270 mm having EP/VE Resin compatibility Multiaxial fabrics are textile materials made of several layers of high-strength composite fibers stitched together with thin threads. Multiaxial fabric can be carbon, glass, basalt, and hybrid according to the source fibers.

Barracuda Advanced Composites RE200P Fiber-glass Fabric produced exclusively for Barracuda Advanced Composites. Using the flat weave, the RE200P fabric produces a highly resistant laminate with 50% 0° oriented glass fibers and 50% 90° oriented fiber. At 200 g/m², it has a thickness of 0.21mm and is ideal for high strength, low weight laminates with a high quality surface finish.Bidirectional (0/90) fiberglass fabric produced exclusively for Barracuda Advanced Composites. Using the flat weave, the RE200P fabric produces a highly resistant laminate with 50% 0° oriented glass fibers and 50% 90° oriented fiber. At 200 g/m², it has a thickness of 0.21mm and is ideal for high strength, low weight laminates with a high quality surface finish.

NORSODYNE® H 73233 - Unsaturated polyester resin in styrene,Orthophthalic. It is used to produce flexibilise rigid resins.

Sylramic™ SiCFiber, Tow is supplied on 3 inch diameter cardboard spools. Lengths up to 800 meters (145 grams) are available. Tow length may vary depending upon availability and customer requirements.

Ultracor UKF-171-1/4-2.3 is used in Double Shell Reflectors and other lightly loaded structures requiring Kevlar’s dielectric properties. UKF-171-1/4-2.3 is space qualified material.
