espol™ 41.00 is a non-accelerated isophthalic neopentyl glycol (ISO-NPG) polyester resin suitable for aggressive marine applications. The resin has been approved by the IRS (Indian Registrar of Shipping) for usage on ships and other marine transport vehicles. It has been specifically formulated for resistance to seawater, offering superior osmotic stability alongside excellent mechanical properties.

espol™ 30.01 is a pre-accelerated isophthalic polyester resin that rapidly wets out reinforcements. espol™ 30.01 has a medium viscosity and reactivity and uses superior glycols compared to general-purpose resins, giving it good mechanical and chemical resistance. It is suitable for the fabrication of chemical tanks, industrial applications, and marine applications.

Crystic® Vinylester Resin VE671 is an epoxy Bisphenol A based standard vinyl ester resin. It has outstanding chemical resistance to a wide range of substances, (acids, alkalies, oxidising agents) at room and elevated temperatures. The product is suitable for fabrication of fiber reinforced composites by all conventional techniques (contact molding, filament winding and injection molding) and for use in many chemical processing industry applications (storage tanks, vessels, ducts).

Crystic® Vinyl Ester Resin VE679-03PA is a pre-accelerated, DCPD modified, vinyl ester resin developed for use as a infusion resin with a wide range of gel times with various catalysts. It has excellent blister resistance and significantly reduces the occurrence of print through, to produce durable moldings with an enhanced surface finish.

Crystic® Vinyl Ester Resin VE 679PA is a pre-accelerated, thixotropic, DCPD modified, vinyl ester laminating and tooling resin with excellent surface finish for marine skin coat as well as for tooling applications. It has a gel time of 23 minutes.

Grade MC223 is a medium weave cotton phenolic composite. Typical applications include pintle and stave-type bearings for rudder shafts in the marine industry. This material is known industry wide as “Marine Micarta.” This product is also suitable for heavy equipment applications that require finer machining profiles than those provided by bearing-grade laminates.

BR70 is a red colored composite made from a 24 oz/sq. yd canvas which is passed through the treater twice to insure impregnation of the fibers and to obtain the resin content desired for optimal performance. The resin system is a phenolic with good impregnation qualities and cured hardness. BR70 is designed for highly loaded bearing applications, where the lubrication is provided by oil, water or a mixture.

Grade MC320LE is a fine weave bleached cotton phenolic composite that has excellent machining characteristics and low moisture absorption. Applications include marine applications, terminal boards and parts requiring medium strength and excellent electrical characteristics. MC320LE meets or exceeds the requirements of MIL-I-24768/13 and ASMT F2953-12 Type FB. Certification to IEC standard is pending.

BR60 is a black colored composite made from a 24 oz/sq. yd canvas which is passed through the treater twice to insure impregnation of the fibers and to obtain the resin content desired for optimal performance. The resin system is a molybdenum disulfide filled phenolic with good impregnation qualities and cured hardness. BR60 is specifically designed for highly loaded bearing applications, where the lubrication is provided by the molybdenum disulfide. It may have a slightly greenish tint in the finished laminate.

Plenco® 08122 is a general purpose polyester bulk molding compound that is characterized by adding utility to a number of applications. Because of its combination of high heat resistance, good electrical properties, flame resistance and strength. Customers have found this material useful in such applications as iron skirts and other small appliance housings, coil bobbins, and electric motor components such as brush holders. It is available in either bulk or extruded form and is currently available in natural. Other colors are available upon request. It is UL recognized under file E40654.

Plenco® 08218 is an 18% glass-filled polyester bulk molding compound characterized as an electrical grade, but has many outstanding properties that make it suitable for a broad range of applications because of its excellent electrical resistance and mechanical strength. Customers have found this material useful for commercial/industrial heavy duty electrical parts, enclosures for power distribution equipment, fuse holders, circuit breaker cases, electric motor housings and components. It is available in bulk or extruded form and colors upon request. It is UL recognized under file E40654.

Customers have found this material useful for a broad range of applications such as capacitor cans, electrical enclosures, etc. It is available in bulk or extruded form, natural and black. Other colors available upon request. It is UL recognized under file E40654.

Plenco® 01586 is a glass and mineral-reinforced pelletized polyester molding compound offering excellent heat resistance and mechanical strength properties. Customers have found this material useful for injection molded electrical appliance components. UL recognized under component file E40654. 01586 is available in gray color.

THPP60-FN is a Polypropylene (PP) honeycomb cores which are a strong but flexible lightweight material that provides optimal mechanical performance in composite sandwich structures.

Plenco® 08228 is a glass fiber reinforced polyester bulk molding compound. Plenco® 08228 is formulated for high-strength, low warpage, and a wide processing window. It is available in bulk or extruded form, with custom matched colors available upon request.

Plenco® 01581 is a glass and mineral-reinforced pelletized polyester molding compound, exhibiting excellent dimensional stability, mechanical strength and also arc resistance, track resistance, and flammability ratings. UL recognized under component file E40654. 01581 is available in black and gray colors.

Plenco® 01501 is a general purpose, mineral filled granular polyester molding compound, offering excellent arc and track resistance properties, low post shrinkage, and improved mechanical strength values. UL recognized under component file E40654. 01501 is available in tan color.

PLEXUS™ 44F Synthetic Macrofibers are high tensile fibers manufactured from a blend of 100% virgin polyolefin resins. FABPRO’s PLEXUS™ Macrofibers meet the requirements of ASTM C1116/C1116M “Standard Specification for Fiber-Reinforced Concrete”.

Lerpol 385 is a DCPD filled resin for RTM. They are formulated with and without mineral fillers. Characterized by easy flow, good curing and excellent surface quality.

Vist Composite SK2VF180-1 is a transparent nylon vacuum film with good elongation for processes up to 180°C. The product is used in various processes for the manufacture of parts from polymer composite materials.

Airdraw® Airdraw 2-DC is embossed with a diamond channel pattern which has been engineered specifically to provide rapid air removal from under the bag when vacuum is drawn. Airdraw 2-DC uses the original Airdraw 2 film which has been formulated to provide increased stiffness to assist in maintaining a breathable pattern, and is a contact material on some specifications. Airdraw 2-DC is not affected by environmental conditions and will not soften in high humidity and maintains the structure of the breathing channels for superior performance. It is designed primarily for ply compaction, with the benefit of not requiring a breather. It is embossed from one side of the film and under close examination the film has a flat side and a side with diamond shaped blisters. The blisters go against the part surface on top of a perforated release film.

VALMIERA GLASS® E-glass is a Needled glass fiber mat with a thermal resistance of 600°C made of alkali-free alumina borosilicate E-glass fiber yarns with a filament diameter of 6 to 13 m and a length of the cut fiber of 30 to 100 mm without any bonding agent.

Tufnol Grade 10G/24 is a laminated plastic sheet material manufactured from modified phenolic resin with a woven glass fabric reinforcement. It exhibits good electrical insulation, high mechanical strength, exceptionally good fire properties and excellent weather resistance.
