Bacillus subtilis creates an environment which is positive for the beneficial bacteria in the gut (lactobacilli) by consumption of oxygen, production of enzymes and competitive exclusion. In this way Calsporin promotes the proliferation of positive gut flora and reduces the pathogenic bacteria. Fenoxipen V, coated phenoxymethylpenicillin or penicillin V, belongs to the β-Lactam group of antibiotics. Fenoxipen V is the first election for infections caused by Streptococcus suis in pigs.
