This medium flow resin features UL94 V0 @ 1.5mm flame retardancy based on non-chlorine, non-bromine FR agents with excellent processability and improved release performance. Lexan EXL5689 resin offers much improved impact strength and ductility over conventional GF reinforced PC resins. This product is an excellent candidate for a broad range of applications, including electrical and electronic enclosures among others.

Unfilled Rexolite® 1422 is chemically resistant, light weight, resists water absorption, and has negligible outgassing. Rexolite® is a thermoset, rigid, translucent plastic produced by cross linking and Rexolite is specifically geared for the microwave industry. The main feature of Rexolite is its stable electrical properties into the GHz frequency range. It is also optically clear (very similar to Acrylic), dimensionally stable, and has excellent sound transmission characteristics. Because of these features, Rexolite® is often used for high-frequency circuit substrates, microwave components, and lenses for acoustic, optical and radio-frequency applications. Urochem 162 Molding Compounds can be supplied in an almost unlimited range of colors from translucent light pastels to black. Hard, glossy and scratch resistant surface. Excellent chemical resistance. Fats, oils and common organic solvents like alcohol and acetone do not attack molded parts which are also resistant to surfactants and weak bases. They will withstand attack from weak acids for a shorter duration. Excellent electrical properties (arc quenching, tracking, flame resistance). Oxygen index of 30% is achieved without the use of external flame retardants. No halogens are present in the composition.
