SILRES® BS 66 is a liquid oligomeric siloxane that is primarily designed for the in-plant water-repellent treatment of aerated concrete. It is a mixture of isomeric octyltrimethoxysilanes, with isooctyltrimethoxysilane as the main component. SILRES® BS 1316 is specifically recommended as a water-repellent impregnating agent and primer for normal and reinforced concrete in various applications such as bridges, roads, and buildings.

SILRES® BS 1705 is a high-quality water-thinnable emulsion that is solvent-free and based on a mixture of silane and siloxane compounds. SILRES® BS 1360 is a nonionic, solvent-free, water-dilutable emulsion of a reactive polysiloxane. It can be added in undiluted form to aqueous masonry protection agents either during or after their production. Similar to SILRES® BS 1346, SILRES® BS 1360 is used undiluted as a hydrophobizing additive for aqueous masonry paints. Its primary functions are to enhance water repellency, water resistance, water vapor permeability, processability, and anti-blocking properties.

SILRES® BS 375 is a solvent-dilutable concentrate of alkylsilane and siloxane. When diluted with organic solvent, it serves as a water repellent for impregnating mineral building materials and as a primer for mineral substrates. Its water-repellent effect develops by reacting with atmospheric humidity and water absorbed on the walls of the pores and capillaries of the building material. SILRES® BS 375 penetrates the building material further and exhibits higher resistance to alkalis compared to pure methyl silicone resins.

SILRES® BS SMK 2101 is a solventless silicone microemulsion concentrate based on silanes and siloxanes that is diluted with water to yield a microemulsion. Dilute aqueous solutions of SILRES® BS SMK 2101 are high-quality specialty water repellents for hydrophobic impregnation and priming normal and reinforced concrete, as well as water resisting admixtures for non-load-bearing manufactured concrete products.

SILRES® BS 5133 is an aqueous and water-dilutable emulsion of reactive polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). It is specifically formulated to provide water repellency to thermal insulation materials made of glass or stone mineral wool that are bound with organic binder systems. SILRES® BS 5133 has been carefully developed and optimized to ensure compatibility with binders based on carbohydrates, allowing for effective integration into various insulation materials and systems.

SILRES® BS 68 is a solvent-thinnable silane/siloxane mixture. It is used in diluted form for the hydrophobic impregnation of mineral construction materials and as a primer for mineral substrates. The concentrated product is also employed in the manufacturing of bitumen-bound minerals or as a binder for mineral systems. The product develops its hydrophobic effect through a reaction with atmospheric moisture or water adsorbed onto the pores and capillary walls of the construction material. SILRES® BS 68 is characterized by higher alkali resistance compared to pure methyl silicone resins, and the water vapor permeability of the construction material is only slightly affected.

SILRES® BS 1042 is an aqueous emulsion of a reactive polydimethylsiloxane. Its purpose is to provide water repellency to materials such as glass wool mats or rock wool mats that are bound with phenolic resin. It can also be used for low-density bulk goods like perlite or vermiculite. The emulsion helps to impart water-repellent properties to these materials, enhancing their performance in moisture-related applications.

Its purpose is to increase water repellency, water resistance, and water vapor permeability while also enhancing processability and antiblocking properties.

VINNAPAS® 8034 H is a very strong hydrophobic dispersible polymer powder for dry mix mortars, specifically suited for tile grouts, renders, plasters, and skim coats. It is based on a flexible terpolymer of vinyl chloride, ethylene, and vinyl laurate. VINNAPAS® 8034 H belongs to the product class VINNAPAS® H, which means that it provides a remarkable hydrophobic effect in addition to adhesion properties.

SILRES® BS 1703 SQ (000010587) is specifically designed for the in-plant water-repellent treatment of fiber-reinforced cement products, including fiber-cement boards. Its main purpose is to greatly reduce the capillary water absorption of these construction materials once they have set and reached equilibrium moisture. The use of SILRES® BS 1703 SQ provides enhanced protection against water damage, contributing to the longevity and quality of fiber-reinforced cement products.

SILRES® BS 1052 is an aqueous and water-dilutable emulsion of a medium-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane. Its main purpose is to provide water repellency to materials such as glass wool (fiberglass) or stone wool. It can be used on both bound materials, where the wool is bound with a resin, as well as unbound materials without a resin. By applying SILRES® BS 1052, it helps to enhance the water-repellent properties of these materials, improving their performance in moisture-related applications.

SILRES® BS 1703 SQ (000096394) is also primarily intended for in-plant water-repellent treatment of fiber-reinforced cement products, such as fiber-cement boards. It exhibits a higher flash point and increased storage stability compared to SILRES® BS 1703. While it may have a slightly opalescent appearance with a slight yellowish discoloration, it does not affect the excellent performance of the product.

SILRES® BS 94 is a highly effective, anhydrous silicone product based on polymethylhydrogensiloxane. It is specifically designed for the water-repellent treatment of plaster elements and plasterboard or wallboard surfaces. When applied to plaster elements or plasterboard, SILRES® BS 94 acts as a water-repellent agent, helping to protect these materials from water absorption. By reducing water uptake, it can enhance the durability and lifespan of plaster surfaces. The use of SILRES® BS 94 can help prevent water-related issues such as moisture damage, staining, and deterioration of plaster elements and plasterboard. It provides an effective barrier against water penetration while maintaining the visual appearance and structural integrity of the treated surfaces.

SILRES® BS Powder G is a water repellent in powder form for gypsum and construction material mixes containing gypsum. It must be thoroughly mixed with the gypsum before water is added. Good water repellency is obtained by adding 0.5 to 2.0% by weight of powder, based on the dry weight of the gypsum. The exact amount depends on the type of gypsum and the quantity of mixing water.

VARIPHOB® AC 5002 is a silicone-based hydrophobic powder used as a water-repelling agent for the protection of mineral-based construction materials. This product is used for cement-based systems, such as bathrooms, swimming pools, showers, saunas, wellness areas.

The Carnauba palm flourishes in northeastern regions within Brazil, and proliferates naturally along riverbanks, streams and damp low-lands.The tree exudes wax through the petioles of its fan-shaped leaves, which prevents dehydration in the equatorial climate. The palm leaves, harvested in the dry months occurring from August through December, are sun-dried and mechanically thrashed to separate the wax from the leaf. The color and quality of the wax are governed by the age of the leaves and care used in processing.
