AFCONA 5207 is a very economical dispersant with good pigment stabilizing performance. It functions as a wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-based architectural and decorative paints, also a very suitable dispersant for printing ink. It will stabilize most of the pigments that are commonly used in these systems.

Mistron® 554 is an off-white, high-purity, platy-fine talc. Its platy nature improves barrier properties, corrosion resistance, and stain blocking ability in architectural and industrial primers. Mistron® 554 is also used in topcoats to reduce hard settling, improve sag resistance, and extend prime pigments.

AFCONA 2524 is an effective water-based defoamer for PU and acrylic-based emulsions. It is a silicone-based defoamer suitable for all types of water-based systems, including those with PVC concentrations of up to 25%. It is also suitable for emulsions based on a combination of acrylic and polyurethane.

AFCONA 2020 is a very strong defoamer suitable for most solvent-based coatings, printing inks, and thermosetting resin systems. It eliminates foam and blistering, regardless of the source of the air bubbles. However, it is not suitable for transparent, high-gloss clear topcoats.

Mistron® 353 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc. Mistron® 353 is used in interior and exterior coating, adhesive, and sealant formulations to reduce hard settling, improve sag resistance, and maximize prime pigment extension. Mistron® 353 is used in solid-color and semi-transparent wood stains to prevent tannin bleed and improve gloss uniformity without introducing abrasive characteristics.

AFCONA 5065 is very effective, offering performance close to that of a high molecular weight dispersant. It is recommended for medium to high polarity systems, such as PU, UPE, UV, NC, heat-cured paints, and acid-cured systems. This product is also widely used in printing inks. However, it is not recommended for air-drying alkyds due to potential incompatibility with these systems.

Inhibisil® 75 anti-corrosion pigment is a calcium oxide-containing synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide. It is designed for use where thin film anti-corrosive protection is needed. Its high calcium oxide content, ease of dispersion, and high Hegman value provide formulation flexibility and expanded process capability.

Dar-Tech Portaryte® D15 is produced from carefully selected, naturally occurring off-white baryte. Dar-Tech Portaryte® D is successfully used in applications where excellent chemical inertness is required but high brightness and consistent color are less important, e.g., primers, sealants, and adhesives. The exceptionally high density of baryte makes Dar-Tech Portaryte® D an economical filler of choice for sound deadening in automotive and domestic applications (e.g. sewer pipes). The quality of Dar-Tech Portaryte® D is guaranteed by an ISO 9001-certified quality management plan. AFCONA 2038 is a highly compatible defoamer that does not cause in-can haziness. It prevents the formation of foam and blisters during the manufacturing and application of solvent-based wood finishes. This defoamer has excellent compatibility properties, making it especially suitable for use in clear coatings and high gloss coatings. Additionally, it is suitable for use in applications where dry film transparency is essential, such as when applying thick clear coatings by conventional spraying.

AFCONA 4200 is a high molecular weight polymeric dispersant for deflocculation of all type of pigments. It is a result of an innovative concept of polyurethane dispersants. This innovative technology is based on an own new developed intermediate monomer and own new developed anchoring groups.

Mistron® 403 is a high-purity, platy, microcrystalline talc. In architectural and industrial primers, it provides barrier properties to improve corrosion resistance and stain-blocking ability. Mistron® 403 also prevents tannin bleed and improves gloss uniformity in solid-color and semi-transparent stains. In sealant formulations, Mistron® 403 enhances film strength and flexibility.

Synprint AC 5151 is an acrylic polymer based on multiphase technology. This is a proprietary process that combines two different types of polymers in the same polymer network. It allows a balanced combination and an overall improvement of the physical properties of the two polymers. Synprint AC 5151 forms a film with very high gloss, blocking resistance, rub resistance, and printability with various types of inks. It also exhibits excellent adhesion to various substrates.

AFCONA 5009 is an anionic/cationic wetting and dispersing additive that improves the wetting of pigment surfaces, reducing the interfacial tension between pigments or extenders and the vehicle. It is an economy grade of additive and stabilizes the pigments through electrical charge repulsion forces.

Lo-Vel® 39A belongs to PPG's synthetic precipitated silica product line, which reduces the gloss of coatings, varnishes, and other finishes. It offers high flatting efficiency, compatibility with various coating systems, and ease of redispersion. This product line delivers a balance of clarity and flatting for overprint varnish and topcoats. It can be used in solvent- or water-based coatings, high-solids, 100%-solids, and 2K systems, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of applications.

JetFil® P350 is an off-white, high-purity, extremely platy talc with more than 98% talc content. This product is recommended for improving stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability in general-purpose and commodity plastics applications. JetFil® P350 could also help in achieving good long-term thermal stability (heat aging).

Syntran® DR 7055 is an alkali-soluble acrylic polymer that is based on Interpolymer Corporation's polymeric surfactant technology. This technology was designed to improve wetting and incorporation of pigments or additives into water-based inks, pigment concentrates, and coatings. This product is used for wood coatings, concrete coatings, architectural coatings, etc.

AFCONA 4017 is a polymeric dispersant mainly used for co-grinding. AFCONA 4017 is a polymeric dispersant mainly developed for co-grinding purposes for coil and can coating, heat cured polyester and acrylic, and epoxy, as well as polyurethane. This product does not depend on polarity and performs well in almost all resin systems, especially when co-grinding dark colors.

Nicron® 504 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc. The platy nature of Nicron® 504 enhances film strength and flexibility and provides barrier properties in architectural and industrial primers and topcoats to improve corrosion resistance and stain-blocking ability. Nicron® 504 is also used in paints to improve sag resistance and maximize prime pigment extension.

AFCONA 3670 is an anti-crater, substrate wetting and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings. AFCONA 3670 is an improved version of AFCONA 3777 on managing surface control of coatings. It has lower surface tension than AFCONA 3777. The combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance is highly recommended.

Silverline 303 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc product. Silverline 303 enhances film strength and flexibility and provides barrier properties in architectural and industrial primers to improve corrosion resistance and stain-blocking ability. This product can be used as a cost-effective reinforcing agent or a dusting/parting agent.

AFCONA 3580 is a silicone-based leveling and anti-crater agent for aqueous coatings that does not influence intercoat adhesion. AFCONA 3580 is an organically modified polysiloxane with very short chain repeatable units of siloxane. These small molecules allow it to move very quickly to an area of defects. This offers very good anti-crater properties without causing intercoat adhesion problems.

AFCONA 2045 is a silicone-based defoamer used to prevent the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing and application of solvent-based coatings, including polyurethane clear coats. It is effective even in difficult situations such as airless spray, brush, and roller application, and has strong defoaming properties with a very good transparent appearance.

AFCONA 5044 is an anionic/cationic wetting and dispersing additive to improve the wetting of pigment surfaces and organically treated bentonites. AFCONA 5044 is an additive for pigment dispersion. It reduces the interfacial tension between the vehicle and pigments or extenders. It stabilizes the pigments through electrical charge repulsion forces.

Vertal® 7 is a highly lamellar talc/carbonate mineral pigment. Vertal® 7 provides a unique balance of prime pigment spacing (opacity), film reinforcement, and anti-cracking and barrier properties to architectural and decorative coatings. Vertal® 7 is especially suited for waterborne paints, universal primers, stain-blocking primers, sealers, and undercoaters. Vertal® 7 is also a good choice for low-VOC alkyd primers.

Nicron® 604 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc. The lamellar nature of Nicron® 604 enhances film strength and flexibility and provides barrier properties in architectural and industrial primers and topcoats to improve corrosion resistance and stain-blocking ability. Nicron® 604 is also used in paints to improve sag resistance and maximize prime pigment extension.

AFCONA 2290 provides anti-foam and de-aeration properties for solvent-containing and solvent-free systems of epoxy, polyurethane, UPE and UV coatings. AFCONA 2290 contains a non-silicone defoaming substance which offers very good performance in both defoaming and anti-foaming. Due to its strong defoaming properties and silicone-free composition, it is also very suitable for primer coatings.

Ti-Pure™ R-900 is a rutile titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment with a simplified surface design that opens an extended range of performance options. This product provides high brightness and excellent hiding in a wide variety of gloss applications. It has a multifaceted product design for non-durable, demanding applications, and it is an ideal choice for corrosion resistance coatings.

Vertal® 503 is a highly lamellar talc/carbonate mineral pigment that provides a unique balance of prime pigment spacing (opacity), film reinforcement, anti-cracking, and barrier properties to architectural and decorative coatings. Vertal® 503 is especially suited for waterborne paints and primers where a 5-Hegman, low oil-adsorption, platy mineral pigment is required.

This ASCONIUM® grade can be used as the sole anti-corrosion additive in coatings or in conjunction with other anti-corrosion pigments to improve their performance. As a liquid-type additive, it is easy to incorporate into coating formulations and will not reduce the gloss of the coating’s dry film.
