AFCONA 5009 is an anionic/cationic wetting and dispersing additive that improves the wetting of pigment surfaces, reducing the interfacial tension between pigments or extenders and the vehicle. It is an economy grade of additive and stabilizes the pigments through electrical charge repulsion forces.
