It reduces the interfacial tension between pigments or extenders and the vehicle. It stabilizes the pigments through electrical charge repulsion forces.

AFCONA 3700 is a wetting, leveling and flow control agent for solvent-free and solvent-based coatings with excellent anti-crater properties. AFCONA 3700 is a highly fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic polymer. It has very low surface tension and therefore it can substitute and perform as silicones without the side effects of silicones.

AFCONA 5207 is a very economical dispersant with good pigment stabilizing performance. It is an economy grade of additive and stabilizes the pigments through electrical charge repulsion forces.

AFCONA 3777 is an anti-crater, substrate wetting and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings. It is the 1st generation of fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic. Recommended as non-silicone leveling agent where silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems. However, we highly recommend a combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance.

Borchi® Gen 0851 is a Wetting and Dispersing Agent for Organic Pigments / Color Development / High Jetness in Carbon Black Pigments. Carbon black and organic pigments are difficult to disperse in water-based formulations.
