Vegarol® EW 300

Vegarol® EW 300 is a pharmaceutical grade, nonionic self-emulsifying wax prepared from high purity Cetostearyl Alcohol and Polysorbate 60 conforming to the Monograph established by the National Formulary. It is a white, waxy solid with a faint, characteristic odor. It is a nonionic emulsifying wax for creams, lotions and hair relaxers. It produces stable emulsions at high pH. In general, 2-15% of it is employed in the preparation of emulsions.
