Vegarol® EW 100 is a nonionic self-emulsifying wax prepared from high purity Cetostearyl Alcohol and Ceteareth 20 conforming to British Pharmacopeia specs for Cetomacrogol emulsifying wax. It is a white, waxy solid with a faint, characteristic odor. It is a self-bodying emulsifying wax which is an effective emulsifier for most emollient materials employed in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, producing highly stable emulsions. Its wetting properties facilitate contact and penetration of actives into the skin. In general, 5-20% of it is employed in the preparation of emulsions.

Vegarol® EW 200 is an anionic self-emulsifying wax prepared from Cetostearyl Alcohol and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate conforming to British Pharmacopeia monograph. It is utilized in the manufacture of official BP preparations, emulsified ointments and simple creams. In cosmetics, it may also be employed wide range of applications such as sunscreen, cold, day, hair, depilatory, lubricating and insect repellant creams.

Vegarol® EW 300 is a pharmaceutical grade, nonionic self-emulsifying wax prepared from high purity Cetostearyl Alcohol and Polysorbate 60 conforming to the Monograph established by the National Formulary. It is a white, waxy solid with a faint, characteristic odor. It is a nonionic emulsifying wax for creams, lotions and hair relaxers. It produces stable emulsions at high pH. In general, 2-15% of it is employed in the preparation of emulsions.

Caprylic-Capric Acid and Fatty Acids C8-C10 are in the form of a pale yellow liquid. This product is not classified as dangerous according to the EEC directive.
