Casacide™ are used extensively in a wide range of anti‐microbial, disinfectant and detergent applications marketed outside of the European Union. The chloroxylenol grades are not supported, at present, under BPR (EU Regulation 528/2012) and so are not permitted, currently, for use as components of biocidal formulations for marketing within the European Union.

Thomas Swan has developed a range of viscosity-reduction additives for the rubber processing and polymer industries, providing time, energy, cost and environmental benefits. Pepton® chemical peptisers catalyze the mastication of rubber, providing time, energy, cost and environmental benefits.

The dibenzamido diphenyl disulphide (DBD) chemistry used to produce the active ingredient within Pepton® is widely considered by the rubber processing industry to be more environmentally acceptable than traditional pentachloro thiophenol based peptisers. Thomas Swan’s DBD is the only fully REACH registered chemical peptiser.

A range of formulated Pepton® products is available, each having different concentrations of the active ingredient combined with a range of complementary proprietary additives that enhance peptising performance."

The only chloroxylenol API to have received rigorous FDA, USP and GMP accreditations, giving customers complete confidence in quality and regulatory compliance. It is a highly‐effective, versatile active ingredient, used commonly in a wide range antiseptic formulations as well as in solid, and liquid, medicinal soaps globally. Casamed™ is manufactured to meet high‐quality specifications, including BP or USP monographs, and can be supplied in a variety of standard, or tailor‐made, packaging options. Casamed™ may also be formulated together with Casamed™ Odor Mask, a highly‐effective deodoriser for personal care applications.

Pepton® 66 is a dust free, pellet form chemical peptiser which provides handling and environmental improvements over conventional powder form peptisers.

Casacide™ T200 is a fully formulated concentrated liquid biocide containing 30 % TCMTB (2- (Thiocyanomethylthio) benzothiazole) as the active ingredient. CASACIDE T200 does not contain any potentially environmentally hazardous solvents. Upon dilution, the product produces stable water based emulsions, which in combination with the blend of surface active agents, results in excellent surface contact and penetration into a wide range of organic materials. Casacide™ T200 is stable in both acidic and mildly alkali conditions, thus enabling it to be used in a broad range of industrial applications. Casacide™ T200 is a highly effective fungicide that also possesses good bactericidal and algicidal properties.

Casabond™ E-LA is a new water-based RFL adhesion promoter, particularly recommended for pre-treatment of polyester tire cords, conveyor belt and V-belt reinforcements. Casabond™ E-LA offers all the same well-known advantages of Casabond E and, in addition, offers enhanced handling characteristics and reduced ammonia content.

Casacide™ T300 is a mobile liquid containing 60% TCMTB (2-(Thiocyanomethylthio) benzothiazole), a non-metallic organosulphur compound with excellent fungicidal and bactericidal activity. The product is stable in both acidic and alkali media and can be used in a single formulation or combined with other active ingredients. Casacide™ T300 can be formulated with a range of surface active agents which can form stable emulsions when diluted further with water. Casacide™ T300 has been developed to ensure that it remains a free flowing liquid for ease of handling.

Casacide™ T400 is a non-metallic organosulphur compound with excellent fungicidal and bactericidal activity. The active ingredient, 2-(Thiocyanomethylthio) benzothiazole (TCMTB), is stable in acidic and alkali media and can be used in a single formulation or combined with other active ingredients. Casacide™ T400 can be formulated with a range of surface active agents to produce a concentrated blend which can form stable emulsions when diluted with water. The surfactants ensure rapid penetration of the TCMTB into a range of organic substrates resulting in long lasting microbial protection against a broad range of bacteria and fungi.

Casacide™ T310 is a fully formulated concentrated liquid biocide containing 60 % TCMTB [2- (thiocyanomethylthio) benzothiazole], a non-metallic organosulphur compound with excellent fungicidal and bactericidal activity. The product is stable in both acidic and mildly alkali media. Upon dilution, Casacide™ T310 produces stable water based emulsions that are stable for up to 48hrs. This product is therefore ideal for dilution and immediate use at the tannery if used without addition of surfactants but can also be used with longer storage times when used with additional surfactants Casacide™ T310 has been developed to ensure that it remains a free-flowing liquid for ease of handling.

Pepton® 44 Prills is an improved and more efficient version of the established powdered Pepton® 44 Prills. Being free-flowing and dustless, it offers handling and environmental improvements. Additionally, increased peptising efficiency is derived from its rapid dispersion in rubber.

Casamid™ 1914 is an aqueous solution of a thermoplastic, alcohol-soluble polyamide resin. The base polymer has a high acid value and has been made water-soluble by neutralization with a volatile amine. Upon evaporation of the water and the amine, the solution dries to give a water-resistant film.
