Stone House Grain
About Us
Stone House Farm is dedicated to a seven year crop rotation that incorporates perennial forage, and important grain and oilseed crops in a long term ecological design. This intentional design includes reforestation, deliberate grazing and extensive land planning. In concert, these practices contribute to a just and sustainable economy in our region and make a positive contribution to the global ecosystem. By providing organic and non-GMO grains for milling, livestock feeds, cover crops, malting and culinary uses, we demonstrate a viable model of regenerative organic agriculture while promoting a resilient agricultural economic system in the Hudson Valley and greater Northeast. We believe in the need to improve the way we manage agricultural land and the people and animals on this land in order to heal our planet. Our goal is to develop a greater understanding on how regenerative standards can be implemented at scale across farming communities in various eco-regions.
