Crestapol

Crestapol® 1260 Urethane Acrylate Resin is a low-viscosity urethane acrylate type resin. It is suitable for infusion, resin transfer molding (RTM), and similar processes at room temperature. This product can be infused at vacuum levels down to -1.0 bar. It produces laminates with high strength, toughness, and exceptional water and hydrolysis resistance.

Crestapol® 1261 Urethane Acrylate Resin is a modified version of Crestapol® 1260 but with an extended open or work time. It is a low-viscosity urethane acrylate type resin that is suitable for infusion, resin transfer molding (RTM), and similar processes at room temperature and can be infused at vacuum levels down to -1.0 bar. This product produces laminates with high strength, toughness, and exceptional water and hydrolysis resistance.

Crestapol® 1213A Urethane Acrylate Resin is a thermosetting resin based on methacrylates that is amine pre-accelerated and heavily filled with 170 phr alumina trihydrate (ATH) fire retardant filler to achieve excellent low smoke and low toxicity fire performance. This resin is developed specially for both hand lamination and closed mold applications.

Crestapol® 1214 Urethane Acrylate Resin is a tough, low-shrink, high-quality, surface-finish urethane acrylate resin for pultrusion. When filled with ATH, it has very high fire, smoke, and toxic fume performances, along with an excellent surface finish. It lacks cracking in the central sections.

Crestapol® 1216 Urethane Acrylate Resin is a tough, low-viscosity resin with a rapid cure. This product can be highly filled to achieve a high level of fire and smoke performance (ASTM E84 Class 1). It is designed for use in hand lamination applications.

Crestapol® 1250 Urethane Acrylate Resin is a low-viscosity urethane acrylate resin. It is designed for maximum wet out for pultruding fiberglass, carbon fiber, and other fibers. This product efficiently produces fast-curing, very tough, high-strength composites with superior water and hydrolysis resistance. Run times and formulation will depend on the geometry and complexity of the die. It will run very fast, making for very efficient pultruded parts.

Crestapol® 1210A Urethane Acrylate Resin is a tough, low-viscosity resin with rapid cure capabilities that can be highly filled. It is specifically designed for use in closed-mold processes. It exhibits excellent toughness and requires no post-cure treatment. The resin has a low viscosity.

Crestapol® 1210 Urethane Acrylate Resin is a tough, low-viscosity resin with a rapid cure that can be highly filled. It is designed for use in closed molding processes. Crestapol® 1210A is a partially pre-accelerated grade that is available. These products are not recommended for open mold applications.

Crestapol® 1211A Urethane Acrylate Resin is a partially accelerated, filled, tough urethane acrylate resin designed for applications requiring the highest levels of fire and smoke performance. It incorporates a selected grade of alumina trihydrate (ATH), which makes it suitable for the production of laminates where excellent fire resistance and low levels of smoke and toxic fumes are required. This product is halogen-free and does not contain heavy metals.

Crestapol® 1212 Urethane Acrylate Resin is a tough, low-viscosity, fire-retardant, closed-mold urethane acrylate resin with a rapid cure. When filled with ATH, it has very high fire, smoke, and toxic fume performances, which makes it suitable for demanding applications in the rail market.
