This material provides excellent electrical grade insulation properties, high mechanical properties, and superior resistance to chemicals including concentrated acids and mild alkalines. This material has superior arc resistance as compared to standard electrical grade epoxy materials. In addition, this material is non-flammable and meets UL 94/V-0 requirements.

RS-2450 is a castable, epoxy based syntactic foam material that is a rigid plastic that can be custom molded to complex shapes or sold as plate stock. This material is a combination of our RS-2240 epoxy and hollow glass microballoons. This material is lighter than water so can it be used as a buoyant material, or a simply utilized as a light weight plastic. It is electrically non-conductive, and has low thermal conductivity. This material has good mechanical properties, and superior resistance to chemicals including acids and mild alkalines.

RS-2279 is a castable, filled epoxy resin specifically designed to operate under high voltage conditions in outdoor applications, as well as SF6 environments. This material provides excellent electrical grade insulation properties, high mechanical properties, and superior resistance to chemicals including concentrated acids and mild alkalines.

Rs-3665 is a flame retardant rigid urethane material that has the look and feel of a thermoplastic material, but can be cast into thin and thickwall parts. This material offers good mechanical properties, as well as meets UL94-V-0 flammability requirements. This material can be pigmented to any color required.

RS-2922 is a 10% class filled version of RS-2920, castable toughened epoxy resin. This material has the look and feel of a thermoplastic and/or urethane but offers higher temperature resistance than cast urethanes. It’s high impact strength makes this material an excellent choice when urethanes are no sufficient to do the job.

This material provides excellent electrical grade insulation properties, high mechanical properties, and low thermal expansion. This material is self extinguishing.

RS-2453 is a castable, high temp epoxy based syntactic foam material that is a rigid plastic that can be custom molded to complex shapes or sold as plate stock. RS-2272 is a patented, castable, lead free insulating grade filled epoxy resin specifically designed for high voltage insulator applications requiring X-Ray shielding. This material provides good electrical grade insulation properties, high mechanical properties, and superior arc resistance to any lead oxide filled epoxy. This material is non-flammable and meets UL94V-0.

RS-4050 is a rigid epoxy based magnetic castable microwave absorbing material capable of continuous operation up to 350°F. This material is ideal for fabrication of low power loads, attenuators, ring chokes and other RF absorbing elements at microwave frequencies. RS-4050 can be supplied in custom cast configurations, standard stock shapes of plates, rods and bars, or in pourable kits.

RS-2297 is a patented, very high density, filled, castable, lead free insulating grade epoxy resin specifically designed for high voltage insulator applications requiring x-ray shielding. This material provides greater than 28% of the x-ray shielding of lead metal, and has superior x-ray shielding to the industry standard 30% lead oxide filled “orange” epoxy. This high density material is non-hazardous and meets UL94V-0 requirements.

RS-2287 is a high density, castable, lead free non-insulating grade filled epoxy resin designed for applications requiring x-ray shielding. This material provides 50% of the x-ray shielding of lead metal at a given thickness, has high mechanical properties, can be cast into complex shapes, and is easily machined with lead free processing techniques. this material is non-flammable and meets UL94V-0.

RS-4550 is a rigid epoxy based magnetic castable microwave absorbing material capable of continuous operation up to 350°F. RS-2925 is a castable 15% filled toughened epoxy resin that has the look and feel of a thermoplastic and/or urethane, but offers higher temperature resistance than cast urethanes. Its high impact strength makes this material an excellent choice when urethanes are not sufficient to handle the job. RS-2925 has improved flammability properties as compared to RS-2920.

RS-2243 is a castable, filled epoxy resin specifically designed for high temperature, high voltage insulator applications. This material has superior arc resistance as compared to standard electrical grade epoxy materials. In addition, this material is non-flammable and meets UL94V-0 requirements.
