It contains countless biodegradable spots in its polymer matrix, ensuring the entirety of the fibre becoming inherently biodegradable in natural environments where conditions are suitable for biodegradation like anaerobic digesters, soil and seawater, with abundant access to moisture and microbes over a period of time. These spots act as pathways that enable naturally occurring micro-organisms to break down the fabric, converting into basic natural elements. This fabric like natural fibres cotton or wool will not biodegrade or prematurely deteriorate during storage or usage.
