As part of our additive componentry offerings, we provide Calcium Alkyl Phenate (CAP). RB CAP is a calcium alkyl phenate lubricating oil additive. It is generally used with other detergent and inhibitor additives in engine oils. It provides base for neutralizing corrosive acids and excellent detergency for upper ring belt deposit control under the high operating temperatures encountered in super-charged diesel engines. This additive, whether alone or in combination with other alkaline detergents, is an economical source of very high levels of alkalinity in marine cylinder lubricating oils.

RB PIBSA is a polyisobutylene succinic anhydride (PIBSA) derived from highly‐reactive, 1000 molecular weight polybutene. It is produced via a chlorine-free thermal process. RB PIBSA is commonly used as an intermediate in the manufacture of oil-soluble dispersants for lubricating oil applications and in the manufacturing of emulsifiers for various applications, including explosives and metalworking.

This additive provides oxidation, copper‐lead bearing corrosion and wear control in diesel and gasoline engines. It is particularly effective over a broad range of service conditions, from low temperature gasoline engine to high temperature diesel and industrial oil applications.

It is particularly effective under the severe temperature and load conditions encountered in highly supercharged diesel engines.

As part of our additive componentry line, we offer CS 425 Overbased Calcium Sulfonate. RB CS 425 is a highly alkaline detergent and corrosion inhibitor additive with very good stability at high temperatures. It provides base for neutralizing corrosive acids and its excellent detergency prevents deposits in engines operating at high temperatures. In association with other RB additives, RB CS 425 is particularly well suited for use in supercharged diesel engines. RB CS 425 is also recommended for high BN marine cylinder lubricants.
