P &amp; P Technology AS-SCS001 CONDUCTIVE SILICONE CAULK is an electrically conductive composite material comprising of silicone elastomer and silver plated copper particles. It is designed to be easily applied to panel joints &amp;seams and/or the small clearances that result from non-continuous mechanical fixing in sheet metal enclosures. On application it cures at room temperature to form a highly conductive elastomeric section / joint that has good adhesion to most commonly used metals &amp;substrates. When fully cured it will prevent water ingress and improve the EMI shielding performance of panel joints &amp;overlaps.

P &amp; P Technology Fire Retardant Nickel Graphite Silicone EC-Q-FR has good resistance to heat, moderate chemicals &amp; oils, sea water, acids, fats, greases, many solvents &amp; ozone. It also has good flame retardant properties.

P &amp; P Technology ECF-Q are constructed from silicone containing metal powder fillers which combine to produce high levels of attenuation with excellent environmental shielding and a high level of conductivity. Many types of filler, from nickel graphite to pure silver, are available to suit a wide range of applications. There are also Fluorosilicone variants for use in the presence of hydrocarbon contamination. The Conductive Silicone Range was originally developed for high performance shielding mainly for military applications. However, the introduction of lower cost llers has now made them accessible to the commercial sector. They are used where environmental and EMI screening is required but space constraints or stringent environmental protection necessitates a small cross section prole, often tted into a groove or channel.

They are particularly suited to use inhigh temperature seals and gaskets, where a soft easily deformable rubber is required and where public safety is critical.
