ALKONAT® L 70 is a line of product comprised of different degrees of alcohol ethoxylate obtained from the reaction of lauryl alcohol derived from natural and renewable sources with ethylene oxide (EO).

The ULTRAPEG® product line is made up of ethylene oxide polymers. It is represented by the following general formula: HO(CH2CH2O)nH According to the degree of ethoxylation(n), products with different molecular weights and melting points can be obtained, which allows the use of these products in various applications. The hydrophilicity of the polyoxyethylene chain from the ULTRAPEG® product line allows for the obtention of a hygroscopic polymer which is highly water soluble. By varying the molecular weight, liquid or solid products may be obtained, covering a wide range of viscosities and consistencies.

ALKONAT® CE product line is the reaction products of cetearyl alcohol of natural, vegetable origin with ethylene oxide (EO). By varying the degree of ethoxylation and the starting alcohol, products with a wide range of HLB values (Hydrophilic-Lipophilic Balance) are obtained. With a wide choice of surfactant, chemical and physical properties to choose from, it is possible to tailor a formulation to meet specific application requirements and performance targets.

Sodium lauryl ether (2)sulfate 28%

The ALKEST® CSO 400H is composed of surfactants resulting from the reaction of castor oil with ethylene oxide (EO). By increasing the degree of ethoxylation, the hydrophilic character of the molecule is increased (higher HLB), which represents increasing water solubility, cloud points and pour points. This product can be used as emulsifier, antistatic agent, lubricant and solubilizer in various markets and product applications.

ALKONAT® E product line is the reaction products of stearyl alcohol of natural, vegetable origin with ethylene oxide (EO). By varying the degree of ethoxylation and the starting alcohol, products with a wide range of HLB values (Hydrophilic-Lipophilic Balance) are obtained. NEOMINOX® LA is a Lauryldimethylamine Oxide where the alkyl group is derived from natural, renewable sources and is readily biodegradable. This amine oxide provides excellent grease-cutting, viscosity building and foam. It is compatible with most ingredients including hypochlorite, peroxide, acids and bases. It can be formulated in conditioning shampoos, hand and dish wash, bath products, hard surface cleaners, skin cleansers, alkaline cleaners, hair conditioners, bathroom cleaners and hand soaps.

ALKONAT® L 40 is a line of products comprised of different degrees of alcohol ethoxylate obtained from the reaction of lauryl alcohol derived from natural and renewable sources with ethylene oxide (EO).

The EMCAplus® line (CAS No. 8042-47-5) is made up of white mineral oils with levels of purity that meet quality standards required by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), the National Formulary (NF) and specifications that meet the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) 21 CFR 172.878 and 178.3620(a) requirements.All products from the EMCAplus® line are colorless (Saybolt +30 Color), odorless and nonfluorescent in the light of day, meetingthe FDA and USP standards for parameters for neutrality and solid paraffin, polynuclear compounds and easily carbonized substances content. The products in the EMCAplus® line are made with raw materials obtained from fractions of petroleum distillate that undergo a special treatment process, unique in Brazil, that qualifies them as USP white mineral oils of high purity. Due to their predominantly paraffinic nature, they are distributed in a wide range of viscosities. Also due to the low content of volatile hydrocarbons, they meet a variety of formulation and specification requirements in various market segments.

ALKOPON® NS ECO 92 is an excellent anionic surfactant, extensively used in cosmetic formulations. It is a high foaming ingredient suitable for soap and toothpaste formulations. It is a surfactant that is biodegradable and safe for contact with skin. Its process does not form dioxane, therefore, it can be used in formulations that have dioxane free claim.

Amphoteric surfactants used in laundry and dishwashing detergents and liquid soaps. Combined with anionic surfactants, they maximize foaming and detergency, in addition to promoting thickening and contributing to the mildness of the formulation.

The ALKEST® TW 80 K is made up of ethoxylated sorbitan esters. The products in the ALKEST® TW line are hydrophilic, having high HLB values. The presence of the polyoxyethylene chain makes the products in the ALKEST® TW line soluble or dispersible in water, which favors their application in oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions, as dispersants/solubilizers of oils and fragrances, and as co-surfactants and humectants in shampoos, hand soaps, and body washes. ALKEST® SP 60 and ALKEST® SP 80, when used in combination with ALKEST® TW 60 or 80, are excellent emulsifiers for beeswax, paraffin, carnauba and their mixtures, promoting stability and homogeneity of formulations.

It is colorless, odorless and non- fluorescent in the light of day, meeting the FDA and USP standards for parameters for neutrality and solid paraffin, polynuclear compounds and easily carbonized substances content. The products in the EMCAplus® line are made with raw materials obtained from fractions of petroleum distillate that undergo a special treatment process, unique in Brazil, that qualifies them as USP white mineral oils of high purity. Due to their predominantly paraffinic nature, they are distributed in a wide range of viscosities. It is ideal for use in foods, agrochemicals, cosmetics and personal care, pharmacy and veterinary use, functional fluids, resins, textiles and inks, adhesives and hot melts. EMCAplus® 140 can be used as a base for body creams and lotions, tanning oils, hair oils, pomades and creams, body pomades, and light-protecting lotions, moisturizer in shaving lotions and in water/oil and oil/water emulsions.

OXITAINE CB 30 has a higher content of renewable, vegetable-based carbon compared to traditional types of betaines, such as Cocamidopropyl Betaine. Considered a multifunctional product, when used in association with ALKOPON® it increases foam volume and viscosity of the formulation. It also provides mild conditioning and improved combing. OXITAINE CB 30 is suitable for low pH formulations such as products that contain alpha hydroxyl acids (AHA).

The ALKEST® SP line is made up of sorbitan esters derived from the reaction of sorbitol with fatty acids. Products from the ALKEST® SP line are lipophilic, having low HLB values. The lipophilic nature makes these products soluble or dispersible in oil, favoring their use in water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions and as low HLB emulsifiers used in combination with high HLB emulsifiers in oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions. ALKEST® SP 60 and ALKEST® SP 80, when used in combination with ALKEST® TW 60 or 80, are excellent emulsifiers for beeswax, paraffin, carnauba and their mixtures, promoting stability and homogeneity of formulations. To prepare cosmetic creams and lotions, the selection of fatty acids and degrees of ethoxylation allow many combinations between the ALKEST® SP and ALKEST® TW products to obtain the right balance of emulsifiers for optimum performance and stability.
