Provian® range of products comprise of lactates, acetates and vinegars for shelf-life extension and food safety in meat, poultry and fish products. Provian is proven to protect. Provian is a proven way to safely extend the shelf life of processed meat and protect it from pathogens like listeria. More effective and less costly than other solutions, it’s backed by peer-reviewed science and by 35 years of Niacet anti-microbial experience. Research has shown that acetates are effective at managing and reducing bacterial pathogens that can cause food illnesses.

Probrake® propionates are excellent for shelf-life extension in bakery applications. Propionates are used in baked goods all over the world and are still the most effective mold-control agent on the market. We recognize shelf life extension is an important consideration for our consumers today. We are the largest producer or propionates in the world. With multiple production sites, we assure constant availability of our propionate-based products.

The Progusta product-range comprises all the acetate-based food-grade products and are used as functional ingredients in many kinds of foods. Acetates are used as buffering agents, preservatives, flavorings and pH regulators and are available in different physical forms.

Niaproof is the brand family encompassing emulsifiers, surfactants, and monochloroacetic acid. In food applications, Niaproof SSL and CSL are used in baked goods and desserts. While Niaproof surfactants find applications in industrial detergents and textile conditioning agents. Niaproof MCAA is a chemical intermediary in various reactions relating to agriculture and carboxymethylcellulose.

Essiccum products are the ideal solid replacers of liquid vinegar in many recipes. It provides the ease of handling a vinegar-flavor without having to work with liquids. Essiccum products demonstrate a superior performance in a sensory evaluation compared to products based from liquid vinegar.

Calprona Performance Enhancers are used to increase the energy uptake (to prevent grass tetany and ketosis in cows) and to increase milk-fat content. Calprona Mineral Supplements are essential nutrients and are used to reduce stress (and stress related injuries) for example after regrouping or transport of pigs and poultry. Calprona feed preservatives prevent spoilage by recontamination of the feed, maintain the nutritional value of the feed (resulting in higher feed efficiency) and act as an additional source of minerals and energy.

CrystalPro is the most commonly used bread preservative globally. It is an effective growth inhibitor of most molds and some bacteria. It is widely employed in bread and other yeast-based bakery goods to prevent mold and rope formation and to extend their normal shelf life.

Provian NDV is the latest clean label development in the Provian® family and it is a unique, clean label, no-sodium meat preservative based naturally fermented vinegar. Since Provian NDV is produced from naturally fermented vinegar that is compliant to the relevant legislations, Provian NDV can be labeled as Dry Vinegar, Neutralized Vinegar or Buffered Vinegar. Provian NDV can be used in meat and poultry products labeled with a natural claim.

Potassium Acetate is available as a white non-dusty, free-flowing agglomerate which offers the benefit of improved wettability, higher reactivity and higher bulk density. Potassium Acetate is also available as a clear colorless 52% and 70% solution in water.

Probake NDV is a free-flowing powder made from naturally fermented vinegar.

Probake® Calcium Neutralized Dry Vinegar

Pharmaceutical grade Calcium Acetate can be used as a phosphate binder to treat Hyperphosphatemia (elevated blood phosphorus levels). Calcium Acetate is available as white powder or agglomerate. These two versions are chemically identical and differ only in physical form. The agglomerate offers the properties on non-dustiness, improved wettability, higher reactivity, higher bulk density, and improved free-flow ability.

Anhydrous Hydrogen Chloride (AHCl) is a colorless gas which plays an important role in various technologies and in pharmaceutical/chemical industries. The majority of Anhydrous Hydrogen Chloride is used to produce hydrochloric acid, a solution of AHCl in water. Concentrations range from less than 1% up to 38%. The latter is referred to as “concentrated” or “fuming” hydrochloric acid.

Niaproof® Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, better known as Niaproof® SSL, is a food additive that has many qualities desired by food producers. It helps strengthen the dough, mixes liquids and oils, and it can replace some fat and sugar. It is used in a variety of commercially baked goods and processed foods, including bread, sour cream, salad dressings, soups, cheese products, crackers, cookies, and puddings. Niaproof Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate is offered as a white to cream color powder grade.

Niaproof® Anionic Surfactant 08 is an aqueous solution containing 40 percent by weight of sodium 2-ethylhexyl sulfate. It is a unique wetting assistant because of its solubility, stability, and penetrating action in strong acidic and alkaline solutions containing 10 to 20 percent of dissolved electrolyte. It is
chemically stable even at the boiling point of 15 percent caustic solutions.
