- Application Techniques
- Ensure surfaces to be coated are clean and dry before application. The primer may be applied by dipping, flowing, spinning, rolling, or spraying.
- For dipping, simply immerse the part in the coating solution under good ventilation and slowly take it out. Flash dry in ambient condition.
- For spraying, an HVLP spray gun with a nozzle size of <1.0 mm is recommended, and the pressure should be set at approximately 25 to 30 psi.
- The primed parts should be dried at elevated temperature before application of top coat.
- For SRP-50 : 70°C for 10 min
- For SRP-51 : 85°C for 10 min

- Storage and Handling
Precautions for Safe Handling
Appropriate personal protective equipment should be used at all times. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Provide good ventilation or extraction and avoid prolonged or repeated breathing of vapor. Keep away from heat, sparks, flames and other sources of ignition. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Transfer only a small amount into a work vessel for use.
Conditions for Safe Storage
For best coating performance, keep container tightly sealed and store in a dry and cool area. Avoid storage above 40°C / 104°F and contamination with incompatible materials. Keep away from heat, sparks, flames and other sources of ignition. Residual vapors might explode on ignition.
Clean Up
Clean tools and flush equipment thoroughly with Dowanol PM solvent. Carefully read and follow manufacturer’s precautions and directions for use when handling cleaning solvents.
