Naxonate® hydrotropes are a proven answer to solubility problems in a wide variety of commercial applications. Optimum hydrotrope selection can result in enhanced system performance. Naxonate® hydrotrope products generate essentially no foam and no wetting action and have minimal influence on surface tension. What they off is a cost-effective way to solubilize complex formulas, elevate cloud points and control viscosity.

Naxcat® aromatic sulfonic acids are made by sulfonating aromatic compounds with sulfuric acid, so3 , or oleum. They are comparable in strength to mineral acids such as sulfuric acid, but are especially suitable for organic reactions where an inorganic, mineral acid could cause charring, oxidation, or an unwanted chemical reaction.

The Naxan® anionic surfactants are a series of sodium salts of alkyl naphthalene sulfonic acid. These products provide excellent wetting, dispersing, hydrotroping and medium to low foaming. They offer acid and base stability, hard-water tolerance and high temperature stability. The naxaf® naphthalene sulfonate–formaldehyde condensates are used primarily as dispersants in a wide variety of industrial applications.

Naxsoft® products include alkyl aryl sulfonates and olefin sulfonates. These products are basic in numerous household, industrial and institutional formulations and function as emulsifiers, wetting agents, detergents and dispersants.

Naxonac® products include anionic surfactants, one of the main advantages of phosphate esters is their stability and solubility in alkali systems. They can be used as hydrotropes to couple nonionic surfactants systems which are not soluble and at the same time increase wetting and detergency properties. The presence of the phosphate group imparts some interactions with metallic surfaces, thereby exhibiting some anti-corrosion and metal-adhesion characteristics. They can be used as additives in oil and water-soluble lubricant systems to improve lubricity, anti-frictional properties of the formula. Phosphate esters also find use as emulsifiers in emulsion polymerization.

The Naxaf® naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde condensates are used primarily as dispersants in a wide variety of industrial applications.
